Just goes to show, that every day life, really is hilarious, sometimes.
I just love the way Robert Bryndza writes.
The story flows along so smoothly.
This is such a simple plot idea, but one, that many a parent has encountered and feared.
Of course, most of us have never! resorted to the extremes that Coco goes to (we would, if we were as brave as she). But... that's what's makes it so funny, and entertaining.
That one damn Christmas present your kid just has! to have.
And of course, there's always Ethel...
Not worth the time
It was painful. My resolution was to quit reading books hoping for it to turn and this was one I am glad I decided to do that with. I stayed until 1/3 of the book and then couldn't take it anymore. When a book puts me to sleep, it's time to shut it down! I had high hopes from other reviews.
A Hilarious Must-Read for Parents!
Totally love this series! This short story, although it is the 4th or 5th book in the series (I lost track,) it takes place in the earlier years. It carries over the same humor, and all our favorite characters are there. What I like with this one is that you learn a bit more about events that take place in the previous books, such as when Coco and Marika met. :)
If you're a parent who has ever searched for that one toy that every child wants (Tickle Me Elmo comes to mind,) you will totally get this story.
I always look forward to the next book!
Fun, fun,fun!
It was just a light and fun read with a great ending. A swear word here or there but used appropriately to add to the effect. I am becoming addicted to the "Coco" character books.
Funny Christmas Brit Lit(yes, it is literature)
This is a very funny British novel, that will resound with anybody who has had to find the perfect child's Christmas present, especially when assisted by clueless and helpful friends and relatives.
