Publisher's Summary:
A one-time bad girl comes home to small-town Oregon in the first in a sexy, heartfelt new series from USA Today best-selling author Maisey Yates
Sadie Miller isn't expecting any welcome-home parades on her return to Copper Ridge. Least of all from part-time rancher, full-time lawman Eli Garrett. The straitlaced, impossibly hot deputy sheriff glares at her as if she's the same teenage hoodlum who fled town 10 years ago. But running from her demons has brought Sadie full circle, ready to make a commitment at last. Not to a man but to a bed-and-breakfast. On Garrett land. Okay, so her plan has a tiny flaw.
Eli works too hard to let a blonde ball of trouble mess up his town. But keeping an eye on Sadie makes it tough to keep his hands off her. And if she's so wrong for him, why does being with her feel so right?

Endearing and Sweet
This was a very easy to listen to story. There was just enough heat, angst and drama to make this book interesting enough to listen to. If you're looking for good listen for a calm afternoon, this is your book.
The narrator is pleasant enough to make this an enjoyable listen.
It is worth the discounted price I paid. Not sure if I will continue with the series.
Amazing narrator!
The story was pretty good, if a little predictable, but the narrator absolutely killed it!
I am and want to be Sadi.
This story grabs you from the beginning and hold o to you the entire book. I laughed and cried (real tears). Great story
SLOW!
This book wasnt for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
If you like the author you might like this one. It was first thing I've read by Maisey Yates.
Would you ever listen to anything by Maisey Yates again?
This is the first book I've read written by Maisey Yates. I might read the second book in the series just to see how it compares to this one.
Would you be willing to try another one of Lillian Thayers performances?
NO! I could hardly finish this one, I did not like her voices for the different characters, I found it very irritating.
You didnt love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Don't think so. When I finally finished it (it definitely wasn't a page turner), it left me kind of deflated.
Loved it!
What did you love best about Part Time Cowboy?
I love ornery and stubborn Eli who fights with himself after encountering his potential girlfriend or wife, (even tho he has not got that far in his mind). I think it is so cute and funny because I know he will fall in the end. Eli has to deal with so much in his life, having to have order in his life and feels he has to take care of everybody and no time for love. I love traveling the road with him as he evolves into the man he eventually does.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Part Time Cowboy?
Loved the end where Sadie is confronted by the Chamber of Commerce woman, who gives her food for thought and the following scenes where Eli and Sadie come to the same realization, their true feelings for each other.
What does Lillian Thayer bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?
I think I have listened to her before and I knew from the first chapter that I would really enjoy the audio book because I love her voice. Time just flew during the almost 10 hour book, read it in one sitting. Lillian did a fantastic job, loved her way with both male and female voices. I really felt like I had just watched a movie.
