    Get the whole series now!
So far this has been a fine read. I would recommend this for either right- before- bed, or on the beach, a quiet afternoon, etc. There are quite a few dynamic features to the story line. A few twists and tunes, and the characters are pretty well developed. There are a few parts that could be edited slightly better, but I do know most authors on here prefer for their readers to help them out in this aspect.
It was not hard reading by any means, but it was also not an elementary level book. Be prepared for some love scenes. But honestly, sometimes they do add to the storyline, right?
I hope to either purchase more in this series (if there is one) or get the author motivated to write more! Not that this was left with just a cliffhanger or anything, I have just loved how the storyline was developed, and would love to know where this could head into the future. Knowing how the characters have developed, interacted, and have grown leaves me with a lot of hope for more. I always love series/ books where there is a spin- off into a similar setting, but with acquaintances that the characters had, or will have.
Overall, this is a great value and I would highly recommend it. It is a great value for the price, and it simply cannot be beat! I will be purchasing more from this author in the future, and look forward to new releases.
I do enjoy the book and the concept of it
'' Writing means sharing. Its part of the human condition, to want to share things- thoughts, ideas, and opinions" - Paulo Coelho
Autumn unlocked, can relate to majority of the teens who read it. I do enjoy the book and the concept of it, but most importantly I love the book because it relates to me in so many ways. Its nice to not have to say what you feel when someone has already said it for you. Read it and you will not regret getting it!
    Inconsistencies....
I absolustely LOVE everything about this whole series!!! But there is one flaw i didnt like about this book. Jace mentions his parents divorce but then in the rest of the books his parents are happily married and completely in love. Was very confusing. The only reason i didnt give it 5 stars.
    It was okay.
Each of the books in the series is okay but not anything really special. They were entertaining enough that I read and finished them all but not enough to inspire any strong feelings or make my reread list. I can't really think of anything to praise or complain about.
    It was ok...
It had potential to be pretty good, but there just wasn't a lot of depth to this one. It felt too short and rushed. I think it will end up ok by the end of the series. It was fine.

    Title: Wildlife
    Author: Fiona Wood
    Narrator: Candice Moll, Fiona Hardingham
    Format: Unabridged
Length: 8 hrs and 8 mins
    Language: English
    Release date: 09-16-14
    Publisher: Hachette Audio

    Genres: Teens, Romance & Friendship
    Publisher's Summary:
During a semester in the wilderness, 16-year-old Sib expects the tough outdoor education program and the horrors of dorm life, but friendship drama and an unexpected romance with popular Ben Capaldi? That will take some navigating.
New girl Lou has zero interest in fitting in, or joining in. Still reeling from a loss that occurred almost a year ago, she just wants to be left alone. But as she witnesses a betrayal unfolding around Sib and her best friend Holly, Lou can't help but be drawn back into the land of the living.
Fans of Melina Marchetta, Rainbow Rowell, and E. Lockhart will adore this endearing and poignant story of first love, true friendship, and going a little bit wild.
    Critic Reviews:
"A beautifully crafted novel with achingly real characters that I couldn't get out of my head." (Melina Marchetta, author of the Printz Award-winning Jellicoe Road)
    Members Reviews:
    Characters with depth
Awesome book with zero teen love triangles. Characters are complex. You really see love of all kinds and from different angles. Wood doesn't paint the typical shallow teen characters that run rampant in most YA. Her characters are as thoughtful as she must be.
    Teen fiction at its best
The writing is so cleaver I felt I was amongst the characters. The attention to detail created a believable environment. As the characters evolved, I felt myself taking sides, and wanting them to be my friends.
    A very engaging read
a thoughtful story about friendship, first love, and all of the complicated moments in between
"The only person you should be is yourself. You can't control perception. All you can control if how you treat someone else."
Just before her term at her school's outdoor education campus, Sibylla unexpectedly winds up on a billboard advertisement near her school. She also kisses the super popular and super cute longtime crush Ben Capaldi.
Lou is the unexpected new girl at school when the new term begins. She isn't at the school to make friends or to fit in. Mostly she just wants to be left alone and get by without having to think about her old friends, her old school, or the fact that her boyfriend Fred is dead.
Sib thought going through a term of outdoor education at her school would be upheaval enough. But adding the billboard, the kiss, and her often rocky and now definitely changing relationship with her best friend Holly makes everything even more complicated. Lou thought a term in the wilderness would give her a chance to hide and grieve. Instead, she slowly finds herself drawn into the dramas of the girls around her like Sib and finds that she doesn't want to stay quiet as she sees a betrayal unfolding in Wildlife (2014) by Fiona Wood.
Widlife is Wood's second novel. It is a companion set in the same world as Six Impossible Things and Cloudwish although it does function as a standalone and can be read without knowledge of the other titles. (For the most impact I do recommend reading these in order though.)
Wildlife's narration alternates between Sib and Lou.

    Great story!
What did you love best about Ghost House?
I loved Chloe's character's interaction with Alex and how he "fell" for her.
What other book might you compare Ghost House to and why?
    If Walls Could Talk
Have you listened to any of Emily Fosters other performances before? How does this one compare?
    No, but it was great.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
"Where you come to experience the afterlife."
    Any additional comments?
    Great story, well narrated.
    love the story line!!
I loved this Audio Book, it has a really good story line! Full of romance, mystery and a touch of horror, such a good story! The performance on the other hand is terrible! The performer is terrible at doing an English accent! It annoys me!!! But besides that, the story is wonderful!
    Left behind a bit
An interesting tale of Chloe Kennedy who along with her young brother was sent to live with her grandmother in England where she meets Alex Read a ghost for over 150 years and his evil paramour. It seems Alex made mistakes in his life that he is paying for as an unhappy spirit. Chole becomes fascinated with him and Isobel, the ex, goes into violent rages, yes she is still here too. There is a living breathing young man, Joe, who is also interested in Chloe. If you like ghostly tales this one sets the reader up for the next book.
For a good portion of the tale you may have some sympathy for Alex and disgust of Isobel, Joe is almost a paper cutout figure and as too Chloe, at 16 she would have been fine but at 18 her actions/attitude appeared a bit off. By the time I got to the final history of the Alex and Isobel I was flummoxed. The tale of the two lovers had me scratching my head to figure out what was going on.

    Great story!
Amazing book, great performance. One hell of a road trip with Leila, Hudson, Bree, Elliot & Sonia.
    Waste of time...
This book was a total disappointment. The 4 stories never come together or relate in any way and then the book just ends with no point after 338 pages.
    LOVED it
This was a really fun listen -- especially during hours spend in the car. There were so many great characters, and I found myself sympathizing with them all. The narrator did so many great voices too -- from a Jewish mother to a stoner dude. Impressive. I recommend it!!
    Let's Get Lost
Amanda Cobbs mastery of accents, dialects, and colloquial nuances made listening to this story absolutely delightful! From Hudsons soft Mississippi drawl and Leilas slight Texas twang to Stoner Timmy's hilarious spaced-out exchange of ideas and the child Dees precious lisp, the colorful characters spring to life in this captivating story of a journey to see the Northern Lights. Well done, Ms. Cobb!!
loved the story! didn't mind the ending.

My mom says that you can't love someone until you learn to love yourself. So even though Vincent is getting more and more scary; even though he's doing a nationwide search for me, I'm going to learn to love myself. Well, I'm going to try.
Mostly, I want a boy to love me. But which one? Dawson - the gorgeous boy who made a mistake, but whose molten lava kisses and steaminess I can't freaking resist? Or Aiden - the God of all Hotties who is practically infused with love potion and who I thought liked me - but now says he wants to be my friend. Or Brooklyn - the boy that first stole my heart; who has always loved me. Well, until the whole cabana incident.
I mean, it was bad enough when there was sort of a love triangle, but now that I'm talking to B again, it's like I'm in a love rectangle, or a rhombus, or something. Oh, and did I mention Cooper Steele: the new soccer coaching, health teaching, tattooed hunk who Garrett sent to school to guard my body. I mean, be my bodyguard.
But back to loving me. I should forget about boys and worry about me. Love me. Like, eventually.

    Confused
Really, I like the storyline in this series but goodness, how can a smart girl's action be so stupid. She broke up with the only guy who truly cared about her because he wouldn't have sex with her? Because all she could think about is her lower parts? But now that I think about it, all her breakups are because she didn't get her way... such a brat. All her decisions are either self centered, hypocritical or shallow (heck, even all three at some point)... I'm totally continuing because I like her other books. And perhaps Aidan. ;) And just for record sake, her parents are totally doing the wrong thing by teaching her stupid crap and getting her everything she wants.

    Publisher's Summary:
Alek Khederian should have guessed something was wrong when his parents took him to a restaurant. Everyone knows that Armenians never eat out. Why bother, when their home cooking is far superior to anything "these Americans" could come up with? Between bouts of interrogating the waitress and criticizing the menu, Alek's parents announce that he'll be attending summer school in order to bring up his grades. Alek is sure this experience will be the perfect hellish end to his hellish freshmen year of high school. He never could've predicted that he'd meet someone like Ethan.
Ethan is everything Alek wishes he were: Confident, free-spirited, and irreverent. When Ethan gets Alek to cut school and go to a Rufus Wainwright concert in New York City's Central Park, Alek embarks on his first adventure outside the confines of his suburban New Jersey existence. He can't believe a guy this cool wants to be his friend. And before long, it seems like Ethan wants to be more than friends. Alek has never thought about having a boyfriend - he's barely ever had a girlfriend - but maybe it's time to think again.
Michael Barakiva's One Man Guy is a romantic, moving, laugh-out-loud-funny story about what happens when one person cracks open your world and helps you see everything - and, most of all, yourself - like you never have before.

    Very YA, cute and sweet
This was a very cute and sweet story. However it was a little too YA for me; the MC is 14 and 16. I learned a lot about Armenian culture, as it plays a large role in the story, and that was great. The romance felt a little easy and forced and I just didn't really feel for either boy. There is no real drama, just some culture clashing. The narrator did a great job and overall I enjoyed it.
    Cute Story!
Didn't know what to expect when I bought this book but turned out to be a great coming-of-age story. Really funny and nice performance!
    A Heartwarming Coming-of-Age Novel
One Man Guy is a dazzling coming-of-age tale about embracing your roots while discovering who you really are. Fourteen-year-old Alek Kherderian comes from a traditional Armenian family. He quietly goes through life following the rules until his suburban world is suddenly turned upside down by a surprise friendship with his classmate Ethan, who opens his eyes to a world Alek can't help but know he was always meant to be a part of. With the help of a few New York City adventures, a sprinkling of Rufus Wainwright lyrics, and some mouth-watering Armenian dishes, Alek soon discovers himself, love, and acceptance in the most unexpected places.
Michael Chernus expertly narrates the young teenage protagonist - his voice balancing shy hesitation with bold confidence at all the right moments. One Man Guy is a book so heartwarming and adorable you'll want to nuzzle it long after you're through.
    Short but sweet
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Would depend on the friend, I guess, but mostly yes. It's a nice story of a first love, combined with the complexities of living in an immigrant family (and specifically an Armenian one).

    Saved by Sebastian
I've been very pleased with Abby Glines' writings but this one dragged for me! They had each other, they lost each other, they had each other, they lost each other! I hate books that play with your emotions like that! Sebastian York saved this one for me! He can't do wrong! Shayna's voice cadence is too erratic for me!
    Shayna ???
I'm not sure why studios pick Shayna for any narrations, she's awful. Sebastian saved this book for me. I love all of Abbi Glines books but no more audio with Shayna narrating. Back to paperback. I've tried over and over to listen to her just can't do it anymore.
    Young & rich
I like some of the other AG books. However, they all have same theme: rich, hot, guy falls crazy in love with poor, troubled gal. Both live HEA.
    Amazing
Love it, amazing hands down. This book series just gets better and better. A must read.

    Sci Fi Romance Novel
The premise for the story is quite interesting. The narrator is exceptional. The over-the-top gush of teenage romance ....not so much...it was like listening to a Harlequin romance. Do teen girls really think like Kiera? But I persevered. It is not predictable. There are twists & surprises. It's well worth a listen. And since I'm looking forward to the sequel that comes out at the end of April... I guess I liked it!
Disappearance, return, young love, pursuit & more
A strange disappearance after winning a state championship softball game, her return 5 years later, young love, unknown pursuers, a secret government agency and a grand conspiracy. Whats not to love? The Taking is an enjoyable Audible listen of a story about sixteen year-old Kyra Agnew, the winning state champion softball pitcher is abducted shortly after the game and returned five years later without having aged a day. First having to deal with the changes in her friends and families lives during her absence, Kyra has much bigger problems on the horizon. A secret government agency wants to capture her and she has strange new abilities. What has happened to her? Who has done it to her? Are there any others like her? What will happen next - makes for an enjoyable listen without getting too far out into conspiracy land to make it seem to be within the realm of possibility.
Well written, very appropriate and capable narrator make this an fine production and another great Audible listen. Hopefully, there were be more stories featuring Kyra Agnew .
This books is terrible unless you like Twilight
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
There is NOTHING that could make this book be a 5 star rating
What could Kimberly Derting have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Rewrite the whole entire thing. Even if you have a wide latitude when it comes to "suspension of belief," you'll cringe at the wildly two-dimensional characters in a scenario that disregards any sense of reality.

    Love this!
What made the experience of listening to Rebel Belle the most enjoyable?
The narrator is AMAZING!! Her inflections, tones and humor were on point throughout!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Harper....she is a kick A, smart and classy heroine!
Have you listened to any of Amy Rubinates other performances before? How does this one compare?
    No but i will!
    Fun Beginning to a Series!
Have you listened to any of Amy Rubinates other performances before? How does this one compare?
I've listened to one of her performances before and they're about the same. I always feel like there could be a little more improvement so that I can separate the characters a little more.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Harper, usually made me laugh with her antics and going over the situation she was now stuck in.
    Any additional comments?
I really enjoyed this book. It was fun and a great set up for a series of books. I don't think I've read/listened to a book that is like this. I really like that Harper is the more "warrior" type of character instead of being the damsel in distress kind of girl. She knows she has to protect a certain person, but struggles with it and living her daily life. The end of the book was surprisingly great. I can't wait for the second one and will probably get it right away when it is released.
    Cotillion drama
Great narration. Fun teenage read. Enjoyable but I felt like I was missing substantial ending.
Is there a part two? I needed an end or the conclusion.
    Narration
The story was great. However, I cannot get over the horrid fake accent from the narration.
    Great Book But....
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Yes this book was time well spent because I enjoyed the story the author wrote, however being from the south the narrator's horrible "accent" kept getting in the way for me to really enjoy the book.
What did you like best about this story?
    the main character was awesome.
Would you be willing to try another one of Amy Rubinates performances?
Unfortunately I will have to. She will probably narrate the other books in this series.
Could you see Rebel Belle being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
I could, but wouldn't want the characters to be "ruined" like another failed book series adaptation...

There are so many things to look forward to. Parties at the Cave. Homecoming festivities. Drama Tryouts. Shopping trips to NY. But things aren't always as perfect as they seem. I find out that my best friend has been keeping a secret from me. Not that I can blame him. I have secrets too. But, for now, I'm going to pretend I'm just a normal girl. I'm going to pretend he's not still out there. I'm going to pretend he's not getting desperate. I'm going to pretend I'll never see him again. But, I will.
And this time, I might not get away.
