Would Recommend, Good Book for Children

Very good book to read to your children. My wife loved hearing this story when she was little. I never heard of it until just last year when she told me about it. We gave the book to one of our friends who just has a baby and she loves reading the book to her son. If you want a good children's book, I would recommend the Velveteen Rabbit.

That first chapter I heard was beautiful.

I listened to the Audio supplied on one of the Amazon pages for the book. Bought as a baby shower gift. Have not had the pleasure of reading it personally. I am considering buying a copy just for my own personal satisfaction. That first chapter I heard was beautiful.

Heartwarming.

Even though I did not have this book as child, I had heard of it and wanted to know the story. I was afraid it would break my heart, but instead it brought me peace. I, too, have always wanted to be "real" but didn't know it's real meaning. Now I do.

The perfect children's book of all time!

This book, of all children's books, is one of the very best. It is touching and teaches unconditional love. I can remember my own very special stuffed animal, Puppy, and, in fact, I still have him. The love and connection a child has for his very first stuffed toy is something that remains throughout their lives and gives them a sense of comfort and safety. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has a child, or knows a child, or who was a child, and that pretty much includes everyone.

Great Morals For My Dogs (And Me!)

A collection of light-hearted stories that all teach a moral lesson. They will make you laugh at times and a bit sad at other times. Despite their lightness, they take on heavy subjects such as loss, change, and even bullying. There were some really valuable lessons in here for both my dogs and me. We really enjoyed the story. The last one was our personal favorite with the little girl who found a way to turn something broken into something new. We were also really amused by the boy who tried to carry everybody to town.

Great book. If you want something that has cute illustrations, well edited, and a nice moral lesson, definitely add this to your collection! The stories are a perfect length for bedtime too.

A wonderful book of stories!

A nice compilation of stories that will teach children topics such as individuality and being happy with who you are, believing in yourself , not being afraid to ask for help and others. This is a great book for classrooms, Girl Scouts and every day reading. the stories are cute and children will not get the feeling that they are being taught these great lessons. It's just a nice book with cute illustrations on almost every page of this ebook. I recommend it!

A wonderful book.

This is a truly wonderful book. I am in the process of reading it from cover to cover with my girls (7 & 9) but can already see that this is a book that we will come back to again and again. The stories are both meaningful and beautifully written and each one we read provokes lots of discussion. I really like that the index includes the issues being dealt with in each story so that I can later pin point stories relevant to the girls' experiences.

I just loved this book! The stories were not only well written, but I thought they were very cute and engaging. I love it when authors can take inanimate objects and turn them into likable characters! This book has some nice illustrations sprinkled throughout. I am looking forward to sharing this one with my kiddos!
