Narrated terribly

Some of the content in the book was good. The narrator made it difficult to stand, however. Names of brands were stated by machines, breaks in sentences were in odd places, mostly the over all flow of the book was just not good. I wonder if this book is better to read instead of listen to it. Like I said, though, the content was good. It was I thought provoking to say the least. Would I recommend it? Probably not, but hopefully the info becomes useful to me one day.

Loved it. Eye opener and hard hitting account of the euro zone crisis. A must read.

Wonderful book and super important

After the the 2008 crash and ensuing Euro crisis so much has been extolled by the media and politicians that it has been hard to know where to start at looking at what has happened and why it has happened. Yanis dissects the problem simply and concisely, explaining in simple terms a very complicated problem. He gets to the heart of the issue of the disintegration of democracy in Europe, pointing out the key players without dictating a personal bias. He also gives an alternative view to the status quo. So overall I feel this is important book for anyone interested in politics or economics of the current era. I look forward to reading his other book The Global Minotaur and hope to see more of his work in the future.

This book should be read or heard by everyone.

Why it all went wrong and why we the ordinary people of Europe are suffering is brilliantly explained in clear and beautiful prose.

An eye opening history of the real European Union

Varoufakis' eye opening narrative history of the EU leaves nothing much to recommend the union, only that it must be reformed.

The inhuman and undemocratic Euro

A good historic account of the birth of the Euro and an analysis of the unfortunate effects of the rules applied to the countries using it. I would have liked more details on how the author wants to reform the rules.

Little disappointed here. I read the entire book and another one, while waiting at the dentist office, I only picked up a couple of interesting "tips". I think this was a quick write... the price reflects that too.

Very Thin Book, but did Save me Time

Description does state it's 40 pages but you don't really realize how thin 40 pages are until you're holding the book in your hand. Forty pages, front/back is only 20 total pieces of paper. Some good info, and for 5.99 it did save me looking up the info online, which I'm sure I could have. So, it depends on whether or not it's worth 5.99 to you for info you can probably find online for free if you take the time.

All You Need

All you need to succeed in thrifting and flipping is right in this comprehensive guide. In "Pick It, Thrift It, and Flip It," Michelle Davenport takes beginners through the all of the basics and even offers important tips for pros. Among the most valuable portions of this book are a section on "Do's and Don'ts" as well as some sample ideas to get you started. This can be a very lucrative side venture (or full-time for the dedicated) and Ms. Davenport has presented an excellent and succinct guide. Well done.

A very important book for those wishing to stay healthy

An excellent eye-opener that delves into how the Big Corporates like the Coca-Cola company "manage" the marketing of their products. Knowing well their products like the Coke are nothing more than sugared drinks with zero nutritional value and have serious harmful effects on humans, these companies have historically and systematically undermined the advice of groups promoting good health. The book is very well researched and makes abundantly clear how people are duped into buying products that are harmful to them.

Good info

The information in this book was great, & I am hopeful it will help me hit my goals, but the narration was not professionally done which made it hard to listen to sometimes. Too bad.

Very good primer on crowdfunding

If you're looking for information as a beginner in the area of crowdfunding you will find a considerable amount of useful information in this audiobook. My greatest complaint with it is the poor quality of the recording itself. More specifically the author while reading stumbles over his words considerably throughout the book, which tends to be a little distracting. Other than that, however, it was well worth the purchase price.

I think the content in the book is quality. The story and examples could've gone much deeper, it seemed to stay quite shallow in areas when you really wanted the author to go deeper.

However I'd still recommend anyone looking to crowdfund that these leading principles are sound.
