Low-limb high
Low-limb High starts out slow, as the story progresses the reader is slowly engaged. Each scene builds upon the next, until the final shocking ending. The reader is slowly pulled along with the protagonist, and when the answers to her questions are finally given the emotional upheaval caused by the revelation is felt. Low-Limb High is a story, about betrayal, secrets and the harm that can be done by a person's actions. Low-Limb High shows the same High-Quality and engaging writing that is present in many of this author's previous works.

Keeps you guessing
A girl in search of the answers for the disappearance of her father and brother. A simple watch will lead the way.
Caroline makes a diagram of her house hoping it will give her the answers.
Are the answers comforting? Or are they more painful than not knowing at all?
This story was very intriguing. It kept me hanging on trying to guess where it was going. It wasn't what I imagined it would be at all.
There was quite a twist at the end which was exciting.
4/5 It ran a little slow at parts, but the overall story and the twist were interesting.
Strong prose, just missing a sense of time.
I read this as part of Underhill's collection "Outcasts" and this one was really interesting. The concept was so strong, but I kept getting tripped up because I just had no sense of time or age-relation in the story. It may not bother everyone, but it was really distracting for me. The descriptions and allusions, the way it was built were so well done, but that confusion really took away from settling in completely.
Keeps you reading till the end
This story has such a unique take and twist. It captures your attention from the beginning and keeps it until the end. I felt like I could see the diorama come to life as I read the story. It's a magical and interesting world Mr. Underhill has created. I would definitely recommend this story to a friend.
