the reader has the voice of an infomercial salesman and is out of character of the author. if you speed it up to 1.25 he is tolerable. I still highly recommend this book as a prophetic resource and great encouragement

A Really Great Book!

This book was very encouraging! A quick read and a very clear and quick understanding of the super natural power of God's grace in the midst of our struggles!

(Side note to Lisa Davis/publisher-the book needs to be reviewed for misspelling and missed words, little g for God on the last page and so on. Just too many to not mention, the publisher should have taken better notice. )

A Decent Story

I enjoyed the settings of the story as I am from Montana abd have visited most of the places described in the book. I didstruggled a bit with the cliche' jokes and the jumping around with the stories of trips and kind if got lost a time or two. I do wish the parallels of God and his Adventures would have been more nourished. overall a decent story but the Narrorator John McLain was not my favorite .

This was the first book by Justin Fatica I have read, but because of how good this one was, I will be tracking down and reading the others, even hunting for those currently out of print! Rev. Frank J. Caggaino in the forward to this book states:

Amazing & breathtaking...so fascinating and peaceful! This book is a testament of God's Power and Love for ALL OF US and a Saint that truly sends us down roses from Heaven... imagine that..you are communicating with someone in Heaven. If you are in need of a tangible sign of God's existence, St. Therese can lead you there. These stories are real and so inspiring. Great Confirmatin gift

I bought two copies of this book as Confirmation gifts. One was for my daughter and the other for her best friend whom I sponsored. Both of them chose St. Therese as their Confirmation saint. I included this book in a gift bag with a few other St. Therese items, and this book was both girls' favorite. The girl I sponsored loved it so much she sat down and read the book cover to cover in one day. My daughter also enjoyed the stories and let me borrow it so I could read it too.

The stories are organized by theme (Healing, Wonders, Peace, etc.) and each story is unique and inspiring. Some of the intercessory prayers were answered in amazing ways and others quietly and with little fanfare. All of them show the powerful intercession of the Little Flower and how she truly is spending her time in heaven showering those who love her with heavenly roses. Another thing that stood out is how St. Therese's presence was felt by non-Catholics and even non-Christians. Highly recommended!

I expected more from this book

Since I was born and bred a Christian ( Roman catholic) prayers are part of my daily life. All day I pray by talking to God and I thank Him and our Lady of Fatima (my Guardan Angel) for everything that comes my way. But at times of grief, of calamities I feel my faith being shaken. I expected this book to be more convincing and more enlightening. This is probably a book for those we do not have faith or who are growing awareness.
