    Publisher's Summary:
Graham Malone is my roommate, my personal eye candy, the reason I get up in the morning smiling. (That could be from the illicit dreams I have about him, too, I suppose. Let's move on.) He's also beautiful to look at, but his heart is where his true beauty lies. Take away the exterior, and the interior still shines. I love him. I mean, I'm pretty sure I do, having never been in love before.
Anyway, it seems legit. And now his brother, Blake, is here, and, well, he's the complete opposite of Graham. Sarcastic, brooding, and totally available. But he's leaving soon, and Graham's the one I want. I shouldn't have to remind myself of this, right? I wouldn't have to if Blake would quit looking at me like I'm something yummy and he's starving.
Here's a toast to roomies: the ones you should never fall in love with. Or something.

    No just no
This book wasnt for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Ok, so this book was so bad, that, for the first time in 3 years I went to sleep without an audiobook. Not enough setting, backstory, boring story, and no plot. It is just BAD.
What was most disappointing about Lindy Zarts story?
Nothing to make me feel like I was in the book and nothing that made me want to keep reading.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
    The performance was great.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
    Deadness

    amazing!
I love this book Kennedy is me I have the same thoughts. and there just super funny. I never laughed out loud from an book this much.
didn't love it didn't hate it
a somewhat forgettable "read." however, I did wish well for the characters and they were developed. I just wish there were more to such a simple story that gave me a more emotional response.
    DISAPPOINTED
struggled to finish . Kennedy was awful. good story line badly arranged . not worth buying or a credit. ugh waste of time. I only finished because I paid for it. smh
    Love this book
I love Kennedy's snarkiness and the way she deals with things. Wonderful writing, the author is amazing and brings you into the book.

    Publisher's Summary:
John Green's The Fault in Our Stars meets Rainbow Rowell's Eleanor Park in this darkly funny novel from the critically acclaimed author of The Beginning of Everything.
Up until his diagnosis, Lane lived a fairly predictable life. But when he finds himself at a tuberculosis sanatorium called Latham House, he discovers an insular world with paradoxical rules, med sensors, and an eccentric yet utterly compelling confidante named Sadie - and life as Lane knows it will never be the same.
Robyn Schneider's Extraordinary Means is a heart-wrenching yet ultimately hopeful story about the miracles of first love and second chances.

    Predictable!
I love John Green so was excited to read a book that had been compared to his writing! But this was predictable with teenagers who were way too witty and quick. There were some silly lines... the boyfriend who "couldn't help but hope" that his sick girlfriend would get better... obviously! I finished it and did love her other book but you should pass!
    I'm crying
I enjoyed...everything. Sadie & Lane are a spin of 'The Fault in Our Stars' but I enjoyed this twist on a true love story. Better for teens or hopeless romantics like me. Highly recommend.
    Better for teens
This is your typical teenage love story. By the description I thought it would be a little more sci-fi or plot-based, but really it is just a teenage love story. But I do think teens would like it.
    Beautiful
Such a beautifully written story. I quickly became attached to the characters and laughed and cried along with them. This is a must read for sure!

    An amazing dragon tale.
    Any additional comments?
What can I say about this to do it justice!! I think I'll start by saying that between it's wonderful characters and magical story this was an incredibly entertaining read! I loved everything about it.
Aranya was an amazing heroine. She was strong, tough, brave and well able to look after herself. She resigns herself to being a slave to the Sylakian king and intends to stay true to herself, which she does. She stays her plucky no nonsense self which gets her branded a traitor and thrown off a cliff to her death. But even that won't stop her!! She becomes her true self at her time of need and we get to see the real Arayna!
Zip is another hostage of war and while at start she battles Arayna, they soon become fast friends. I loved her spirit too! She goes through a lot while being a hostage but remains strong and steadfast. I loved her friendship with Arayna, which was solid.
Then we have the war hammer Yolathion, who is the right hand man of the Sylakian king. He is charged with conquering all nations, which he is more than willing and able to do. He captures Aranya and while transporting her to the king, develops a bond with her. He starts questioning himself about his duty or love but when his king demands he throw Aranya to her death, he does. Can Aranya forgive him?
This book grabbed me right from the start. The characters were the first thing I fell in love with but what really drew me in was the incredible world building. The lore and vivid writing made for an unforgettable world and one I will gladly jump right back into. The Dragon ships, the different nations, the different customs and the dragons themselves made me love the book even more. It was amazing.
Anyway, as I said, this was such an incredible read. It was extremely well written and imagined and filled with twists, turns, suspense and action that I flew through it. Once I pluged in my headphones, I couldn't stop listening!! The vivid descriptions and attention to detail was exceptional and it's well worth the credit!!
Shiromi Arserio made for an amazing narrator because with the number of characters in this, I never got confused of who she was trying to portray. She gave a great performance and I will definitely check out more by her.

So it finally unfrozen and cannot wait till I get paid to get the rest of books. This is like the best audible I've listen to in ages. Thank you for such a great read. I am trying to stop smoking and listening to this has helped me get mine off .
    Hard to follow
It was hard to understand or follow any story line at first. Couldn't figure out what was going on. Only action was towards the end. It just wouldn't be my first pick to recommend. Actually I wouldn't recommend it. I'm going to listen to it again and see if I pick up anything I didn't at first. I didn't get through the first chapter before wishing I had not purchased it.
    Good Book
This is a Good Book, I Believe it was worth the credit... THE ONLY ISSUE I HAVE WITH IT IS THE ENDING!! However I just noticed it's a series so I'm hoping the next book picks up RIGHT WHERE THIS ONE ENDED OR ELSE I WON'T BE A HAPPY WOMAN! I'll modify my review after I find out if the issue gets fixed....
    I just kept getting lost.
I could not keep my interest long enough to even keep the characters organized. I had to start over several times to remind myself who was who and their relationships & importance. I believe I finally figured it out but I pretty sure I won't bother with the other books in this series, which is a disappointment for me.
    I hate this freakin book
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Its so slow. I wanted to kill myself. Its so boring. So much talking.
What was most disappointing about Brigid Kemmerers story?
It took so so freakin long for Becka to choose. I mean come on, even a 16 year old can figure out who she really likes. No action. No nothing.
How could the performance have been better?
Everyone sounded pretty much the same
You didnt love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
    NO

When they resurface, an astounding world awaits them - an entire underground civilization of humans, the Keepers of the Well.
But instead of finding a safe haven, Mia and her gang are quickly embroiled in a dangerous, high-stakes battle royale. If Mia wants to save everyone she loves and make it back home alive, she's got to get to the water's source before Sutton and his troops, who are still hot on her trail.
With new characters and new threats, Seth Fishman has upped the ante fantastically and delivers another tense, fast-paced adventure in a richly imagined world just below our feet.
    Members Reviews:
    Fun read!
Great, fun book -- A prefect summer read!
weaker, slower than book one though fans of book one will probably find it satisfactory
The Dark Water is the sequel to Seth Fishmanâs The Wellâs End and while the first book was a solidly entertaining and exciting book despite issues of weak characterization and a somewhat flat style, the sequel lacks its predecessorâs deftness in pace while it continues to have much of the same issues, making it a weaker novel overall. Fair warning: spoilers for book one follow.
At the close of The Wellâs End (did I mention there will be spoilers? Seriously, stop now if you havenât read the first book because Iâm going to tell you its ending. No, really. I am), Mia and her friends dove into the miracle-water well to escape Sutton and find Miaâs father. They surface in an underground world, complete with a beautiful city filled with 7-foot-tall âKeepersâ who see their role as guardians of âThe Source.â Unfortunately, the âtopsidersâ as Mia and those who dwell on the surface are called, have arrived at a bad time. One of the Three, a trio that leads the city, has been brutally killed (such death is nearly unheard of in this world) and the Keepers see the timing of the murder suspiciously coincidental with the arrival of topsiders. The death of one of the Three has also thrown off the balance of leadership, and the city is on the verge of civil war as the two remaining of the Three are at odds as to what to do about the map discovered by Miaâs father years ago. One faction wishes to go topside, one wants to lock the place down. The debate has been ongoing, but the murder followed by the arrival first of Miaâs father and then Miaâs group is the spark that sets off a violent explosion. While the Keepers war with each other and against the Topsiders, Miaâs group desperately seeks her father and the Source, for above them the deadly virus of book one continues to rage and without more water, everyone they know will most likely die, along with the rest of the world if the virus isnât checked.
As I mentioned, the weak characterization of The Wellâs End continues through The Dark Water, even though weâve already gotten to know these characters. Nobody really develops much, and itâd be pretty easy to describe each of them pretty fully in only two or three words. The new characters â the Keepers â are just as weakly drawn, though one of the Three gains at least a small measure of individuality at the very end.

Jubilee Chase and Flynn Cormac should never have met.
Lee is captain of the forces sent to Avon to crush the terraformed planet's rebellious colonists, but she has her own reasons for hating the insurgents.
Rebellion is in Flynn's blood. His sister died in the original uprising against the powerful corporate conglomerate that rules Avon with an iron fist. These corporations make their fortune by terraforming uninhabitable planets across the universe and recruiting colonists to make the planets livable, with the promise of a better life for their children. But they never fulfilled their promise on Avon, and decades later, Flynn is leading the rebellion.
Desperate for any advantage against the military occupying his home, Flynn does the only thing that makes sense when he and Lee cross paths: He returns to base with her as prisoner. But as his fellow rebels prepare to execute this tough-talking girl with nerves of steel, Flynn makes another choice that will change him forever. He and Lee escape base together, caught between two sides in a senseless war.

    Great 2nd Book
Firstly, I was a huge fan of These Broken Stars, particularly the amazing audio production. This Shattered World is in the same universe as that book and there is some character overlap/crossover, but TSW could also stand alone.
What I like most about this series is that it takes a fairly classic theme/setup, but before it can feel cliche, the story goes way out there. The basic premise is rebel leader and soldier falling in love and trying to stop the fighting, but it is also way more than that. I won't give specifics as to how it changes as that would be spoilery.
In comparison to These Broken Stars, I think that they are equally good stories but the overall production of TBS is more impressive than TSW. This Shattered World has great narrator performances and very cool sound effects, but These Broken Stars was so phenomenal with their interview segments, voice talent, and sound fx that it's a tough act to follow.
All in all, a great audiobook in its own right and a very satisfying follow-up for fans of TBS. I highly recommend it.
    I Highly Recommend This Book
Much like the first book of this series, I was instantly drawn into the story. Again you are transported to a beautifully written Sci-Fi world (set in the same time as the first) with non-stop action and thrills. Although the worlds are similar, the characters, planet and story are very different. Unlike the slow burn of the first book, this one starts out with a bang and never lets up until the end. It was absolutely thrilling. Narration was great too. I cant wait until the next book by this author.
    As Good As The First
This Shattered World, the second in the Starbound Series, is a solidly written sequel using different characters but in the same spirit as the first book. Drawing heavily upon Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet (references abound, from a planet called Avon, to a nickname of Romeo, to the main character being from Verona), our star-crossed lovers are separated by ideologies rather than class.
Story: Jubilee Chase is a captain on a backwater planet, Avon, trying to keep the peace against insurgents. But there are strange going-ons, the terraforming keeps stalling, and the people are starving.

    Amazing!
Hopefully there will be a second book. It's really good for a seventeen year old writer.
It was very good, A+ for Bella Thorne
Bella Thorne has the potential to be a very good author. The fact that she wrote this well written novel. All while being under the age of 18, is impressive. Kudos to Bella
    Great book for our drive.
If you could sum up Autumn Falls in three words, what would they be?
    Interesting, quick moving, easy listen.
What did you like best about this story?
    The perspective.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Sometime the readers emotions seem to come thru. Books read by the author always seem better.
    Any additional comments?
Good shorter book. Needed a 5 hour book for a 5 hour trip. Fun listen
Great series: hoping for its continuation and expansion into broadening themes
Good work Bella. I am touched by your story's sweet end. It would be interesting to see what our irresistible Autumn character could do, with the journal's help + that of her wonderful friends and family in some wider context just as relevant to our youth today like, say, climate change, the health of our planet or the political perversity that a small group of billionaires be allowed to wreak such havoc on world peace, social justice and the environment.
Love this book better read this

    Resist - Resist - Resist
What disappointed you about Resisting Ruby Rose?
This book falls into that unfortunate category of not living up to the potential of the original. This book was full of a whiny teenager and all her self-tormenting angst and it got very tedious, very quickly.
Has Resisting Ruby Rose turned you off from other books in this genre?
Not this genre, just this series.
What didnt you like about Kimberly Harschs performance?
When I read the first book, I imagined Ruby to be a tough, go-getter type with a confident attitude. I did not expect this performance to be one of a bratty Valley Girl.
What character would you cut from Resisting Ruby Rose?
All of them. I'd scrap it and start over.
