    Herausgeber: Audio Media Digital

    When I opened Libro De Lumine I was sitting outside ...
    When I opened Libro De Lumine I was sitting outside in the sun spangled morning light. As I dived into the verses, I realized the setting was all wrong. Suddenly and without warning I was tossed into Anthony Crowleyâs nightmare world and witness to the birth of something other.
    Gone were the sun dappled trees replaced by gnarled dead fall populated by things unseen, things not want to be seen.
    Only Anthony Crowley can bring the horror in classical verse.

    Release date: 05-22-17
    Publisher: LitFire Publishing
    Genres: Drama & Poetry, Poetry
    Publisher's Summary:
    Life is a journey, different for everyone. Yet we all deal with problems and joys on this journey. I reflected on my journey in poetry. As I slowly shared my poetry with others, they insisted that I share it with a wider audience. I never felt my poetry was that good or that important, but every time I shared it, it seemed to touch the people who listened to it or read it.
    With this book, I am stepping way outside my comfort zone in the hope that the people urging me to share more of my poetry with a wider audience are right, that the poems do touch people and that I have something to say.
    Depression - or as I prefer to call it, "The Big D" - has been a companion on my life journey since I was nine. As a teenager, my answer was to shut down and shut out everyone, preferring death to living. By the grace of God, I never carried out my suicide plans. When I turned 30, I sought help. It took almost 10 years to find a medication combination that consistently worked. At that point, talk therapy with my fourth therapist began to make sense and make a difference. My poetry became an integral part of my therapy and recovery from the Big D.

    Deep and meaningful and speaks to the heart.
    This is a wonderful book of prose on the topic of the lived experience of depression, as well as the healing process that can take place. It is a very useful piece of literature and I would recommend it to anyone interested in depression or mental health or anyone who is interested in poetry and various poetic styles. It is deep and meaningful and speaks to the heart. I hope to see more from this writer.

    Words Not Bullets is a book of poems by Michael Becker, a former police chief. Among the poems included are "The Care Taker", "Angels", "Heaven", "Humble Abode", "Grandfather's Prayer", and more than 100 others.
    Michael Becker grew up in Michigan. His father, a Greyhound bus driver, was always on the move. This took young Michael on an adventurous journey all over the state, living in numerous cities. This was the beginning of what shaped his life. He had to quickly learn the likes and dislikes of others and how to live with them. This made him very open minded about others and how they lived their lives.
    This also gave him the tools needed to be a decent police officer, and Chief of Police. The most important thing in shaping his life was the love and light he received throughout his entire life. Some of his accomplishments were: creator and father of the Michigan Police Olympics; a member of the State Frequency Allocation Board and Legislation Committee; and a member of the Clare Optimist Club. Today he is a father and grandfather. He lost his wife of 45 years in 2011. Today he walks a darker road, but never alone because of the wonderful friends he as met along the journey throughout his entire life.

Several of the poems will joyously elate you; others will bring tears to your eyes. The entire range of human emotions will be experienced by the time you finish reading the collection, and you will undoubtedly want to read many of these poems over and over again. Amazon needs to add more stars, because this volume deserves ten of them.
    Awesome book of poems
    This is a book of wonderful poems written by a former police chief that reflect deep thoughts and feelings. The poems are written about life's journey, wisdom, love, nature, dreams, loss, loneliness, and angels above. The author has talent not only in his poems but also in the pencil drawings that are illustrated throughout the book. I enjoyed reading this book of poems and will keep it in my library to reread again.
    I knew him when. . .
    I met Chief Michael Becker when I was 11. What a truly awe inspiring man that changed the lives of a community.

    Length: 39 mins

    Release date: 05-19-17
    Publisher: SAGA Egmont
    Genres: Drama & Poetry, Poetry
    Publisher's Summary:
    "The Hunting of the Snark: An Agony in 8 Fits" is usually thought of as a nonsense poem written by Lewis Carroll (Charles Lutwidge Dodgson) in 1874, when he was 42 years old. It describes with infinite humour the impossible voyage of an improbable crew to find an inconceivable creature.
    The poem borrows occasionally from Carroll's short poem "Jabberwocky" in "Through the Looking Glass" (especially the poem's creatures and portmanteau words), but it is a stand-alone work, first published in 1876 by Macmillan. The illustrations were by Henry Holiday.

    Scanned, OCR not edited!
    I am very disappointed with this title. It was obviously scanned and OCR'ed but never edited at all. There are numerous cases of errors which as so bad as to make the text unusable. Even for a dollar this is a rip off. Don't wast your money or precious time.
    lost tove jansson pictures
    This is a must for all Tove Jansson fans as she illustrated this book. The story is fun, the pictures are perfect match to the crazy content.
    Five Stars
    thanks
    "I said it in Hebrew - I said it in Dutch - I said it in German and Greek:"
    This is a great nonsensical tale that probably will need an annotated version to make sense. Not of the purpose as that is in the title. But of the few words that are real but archaic. In any sense this is a fun read. I want to believe it holds some profound secret other than just a play on words.
    "They sought it with Thimbles, they sot it with care;
    They threatened its life with forks and hope;
    They threatened its life with a railway-share;
    They charmed it with smiles and soap."
    You will want to re-read "The Hunting of the Snark an Agony, in Eight Fits" (1876) and see with other allegorical nonsense you missed.
