Love triangle purgatory

Let me start by saying that this HEA was a hard fight right up until the end. The prologue of this book will hook you. If you can tolerate all the back and forth, not just in terms of time but also POVs, the story will not disappoint.

Spinning out is told from the POV of Mia Mendez - a girl from a trailer park reeling from the divorce of her parents, incarceration and eventual death of her brother, and an alcoholic father. The second POV brought to us is Arrow Woodison - college football star athlete serving house arrest for possession of drugs. Mia and Arrow share an instant connection, but fate keeps them apart time and time again.

At the root of this story is the mystery surrounding a hit and run accident responsible for the death of Mia's brother, and complete disablement of Mia's boyfriend, Brogan.

I liked Mia's character. She was so strong despite life constantly stomping all over her. The world Ms. Ryan constructed for her characters was detailed with sub-plots abound to keep things interesting - maybe a little too much, actually. I missed football games, and day-to-day college life. Fair warning: there were very few happy times in this book - it didn't make me cry but man it was a depressing listen.

Narration deserves a solid 5 stars. Summer Roberts and Tyler Donne make a great narrating team. It would have been better had Summer read only the female dialogue, and Tyler handled the male dialogue but sadly very few audiobooks are recorded this way. With that said, each narrator did a good job intoning characters of the opposite sex.

Down to the most important question: credit worthiness. I vote yes.

This was a great suspense story, I enjoyed it a lot but the heroine forgave the hero too easily. She should've made him suffer at least a little bit!

Great narration

This book has a lot of action and intrigue intertwined with enough romance to satisfy everyone's taste. The narrator is great.

Redemption River

Redemption River is book 1 in the Men of Mercy series by Lindsay Cross. Great book. Plenty of Action, suspense, unexpected turns and of course, romance! I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

Narration by Aiden Snow was perfection as always. Aiden had the deepest sexiest seductive voice ever. He always brings you right into the story from his first spoken word and never lets go.

Ho-hum book and worse narration..

Theres 2 types of books that Ive read again and again: 1) either the hero or heroine see the other kissing someone else and takes off for years, only to come back and find out they were wrong about what really happened, and 2) someone dies while on an op and theres guilt, guilt and more guilt. Both Hunter and his brother Ranger wish they had died instead of the one who did (sorry, no spoilers here.) Really? This book had both kinds of stories.

And, of course, Evie just had to have her TSTL moment. She jumped to conclusions, just like Hunter did, and she took off to meet Marcus, ALONE. And she was scared to death of him. At 80% she still hadnt really gotten any backbone and was always trembling from fear of something.

I did like Hunters team but the narration was so bad I dont think I want to listen to the next book in this series, although I really did like Ranger and hes the next book, but

Even though this was kind of an alright storyline, it was set in Mississippi and the narrator made everyone sound like ignorant hillbillies. And the MRG (Mississippi Revolutionary Group) didnt make any sense to me. They voted on whether or not to (supposedly) run drugs for Marcus, while Evie was dead-set against it the others argued about the one hundred dollars it would bring. Also, Evies grandfather was kind of crazy and her mother was sleeping with.. (no spoilers again.) Marcus was just crazy in his thinking and I couldnt wait for Hunter to kill the sheriff, and hopefully Marcus, too.

There was some explicit sex but once Hunter mentioned he was going to spank Evie I was turned off and couldnt wait for this book to end, all the while hoping he wouldnt actually spank her before the story was over.

A entertaining love story, by author Noelle Adams, featuring her "one night" novellas. Each one is better than the last. Their must-reads!......Meg always knew what she wanted out of life, but her overly handsome but sinfully sexy roommate has other ideas. She was always known to be in total control, making wise decisions, and more importantly , preferred her surroundings to be neat and tidy but one look around the house, told her it wasn't going to be easy. There was no way getting around it, her roommate was nothing but a slob and the sad part of it was, she had a deep hidden crush on him and a need so overpowering that it was taking all of her willpower to keep things behind the surface. Another one hit out of the park!!!

I received an advance copy and offered to write and honest review. Books are my wife and I read probably 5 to 12 per week.Noel Adams, aka Claire Kent, is by far my favorite author in this genre and any other!this book is a perfect next of everything we love about romance! The writing is always concise and beautifully flowing and errors are very difficult to find.

You will love this novella! East is my new book boyfriend and will be for quite some time. Lol! I love how much was covered in a short time and having never felt rushed at all. The characters in this novella, as well as all of her other amazing 'one night' books, are funny, relatable and all completely different. do yourself a favor and pick up this novella, as well as her other one night novellas. They are all just a perfect evening read- Fabulous!! I know you will enjoy!

Love Pete and Jenna

Jenna Ward is a fun loving, confident woman until she's around the guy she's been crushing on forever, Pete Lacroux. He loves being around the "Seaside Girls" and spending time with them, even though Jenna confuses the heck out of him. Jenna decides to give up on Pete and ask another guy out. Who knew laid back Pete Lacroux would turn into such an alpha male once he realized his true feelings. I definitely recommend giving this series a try!

B.J. Harrison makes Melissa Fosters books come to life, I love listentening to him narrate her stories.

Another Amazing story by Melissa Foster

Jenna was in love with Pete for the longest time. Every time Jenna was near Pete she lost all her ability to speak so Pete did not know Jenna lusted after him. Jenna got discussed one day and asked out a construction worker right in from of Pete. That is when everything changed. I listed to the audio version of Seaside Hearts. I just love the narration of BJ Harrison. His voice makes my ride home from work enjoyable.

This friends to lovers story was a nice continuation of this series that I enjoyed. Pete and Jenna were well written characters that had chemistry and family issues that were relatable to the reader. I enjoyed also catching up with the crew from Seaside as well. Their story was fast moving but ended abruptly but was well written and kept me interested as a reader from the first page to the last. Gripped grips you.

This was my first time listening to these narrators and hearing anything by this author. I really liked the characters. The story sort of grabs you from the start. Both Beverly and Dane were very interesting characters, as were all of the side characters. The writing was engaging. At times, Beverly only slightly annoyed me blaming herself for everything, and her very reasonable reactions on being insecure. I mean, seriously. If the guy can't be bothered to call or send a text to just say "Hi" while being gone for weeks at a time, moving on and not waiting around shouldn't have been a second thought. It's not insecure to not be willing to wait around to see if he can be bothered to check in. Checking in is common courtesy and the actions of a guy that's into you. And, when she called him, he acted like he couldn't be bothered. No one is that busy. But, I still really liked her character otherwise. Dane is just clueless and not used to communicating and being considerate where women are concerned. They were both still likeable characters despite their flaws.

Once, they'd resolved their differences, the story did seem to drag a little for me, added events feeling a tiny bit contrived. However, the narration in those scenes went from fantastic to superb.

Aiden Snow and Megan Tusing did a really great job right from the beginning. And, I'm always wary of these dual narrations. When they're good, they're good. When they aren't...well they just aren't. But, luckily this duo worked out nicely. But, Aiden Snow out did himself when it got to some pretty intense and emotional scenes. Just wow! Was already impressed and then was further impressed with the depth of the performance. Overall a very satisfying listen.

Gripping!

Maybe it was the gripping story....maybe it was my hormones.....or maybe.....just maybe it was the male narrator's voice that gave me butterflies and turned my emotions into a big pile of mush!! Yep, I love great voices.

I listened to the first book (Incumbent) so I was interested to know more about this story. This series focuses on the Prescott family and this story (Gripped) features Dane and his love interest Beverly. It is an emotional, heartwarming, witty, sexy and smart story that had me hooked from the start.

Both narrators did a fabulous job with this book. Quite often, when there is a dual POV story, the woman's voice doesn't measure up to the man's.

Hot romance

Continuation of a hot romance story that I'm so in love with... can't get enough of Jamie and Alex

Bad Narrator

I rarely complain about the narrator but this one I was not expecting since the first 3.5 books had a totally different. She not only miss pronounced the character Jamie's name as Jimmy she made the book not as good as the first ones.

I would have given this a overall higher stars but the narrator made me not want to.

Listened to book 1,2,3,and 3.5. Enjoyed, then narrator switched. Payed for 1thru 8. And so mad I did. It hurt to listen to book 4. And maybe in the future if I'm hurting for a book will I listen to the rest. It was very painful to listen to. So bad that I really don't know if the story was good, could not wait for it to end.

Th first 3 books in this series were really great and were read ok... but starting with book 3.5 the narrator was changed and she read the book too fast, which makes following along a little uncomfortable sounds better at .75 but is uncomfortable it's not natural

So disappointed!

I listen to the first three book and fell in love with them. But was so disappointed in the narrator for this book. She had made Jamie sound like a blond bimbo and Alex a stupid moron. Which meant I really didn't enjoy this book as this not how the story had portrayed them. Love the story so will be buy it on kindle from now on.

Good story, but I hate serialized books -- they are a rip off

This is a good romance, but I absolutely HATE serialized books -- they are a rip off. I think it is just a way to get readers to pay more for a book, by splitting it into many small parts -- we end up paying a LOT more than we would if the story was just one long book. Also, many of these stories, this one included, have a lot of unnecessary stuff added (misunderstandings, angst, ...) that I think is there only to allow for more parts to the serial, thus more $ from readers.

I will probably read the next installment of this serial, Wife To The Boss, simply because I want to know how their story goes now that they are married. But I doubt that I will read all of the other installments -- with 11 installments, at $3.19 each, that is a LOT of money.

Wow! A surprise twist! Those creative juices are really flowing Lexy! Bravo!!!!

I can't believe Steven. He truly has shown how crazy he really is. Oh and Jamie's sister she and Steven deserve each other. I feel for her father he should have just divorced that witch he calls his wife. Man oh man they are every nightmare family wrapped in one. I am happy that Jamie and Alex are pregnant, however, they are going to need to be careful. I know the end is near, but I am sure it will be enjoyable.

The whole series kept me enthralled the whole time I was reading. I would recommend this series to anyone that likes books that are a little bit steamy and has a great storyline. I couldn't put them down. I was awake all night reading and it's been a long time since I've been so into a book that I couldn't put it down so that is why I gave it the rating I did.

As with the rest of the series, I loved I Do The Boss. I have been crazy about Alex from the start. I think Jamie is perfect for him. I really liked the drama in this one. And, did I mention, what a nut job of a family? Wow, this book has it all. Lexy Timms does it again.

Interesting awwm lust/love biker story

I bought this story by mistake. I thought it was a paranomoral shifter story. but, it was an interesting biker story of a Asian female who's dad an accountant for the mob is in danger. Lucky for her her cousin ( she was adopted ) is head of a motor cycle club. Everyone is anglo in this story except her. There is drama action and erotic sex scenes. This story is part of a series. It was ok. With the only diversity character is the little Asian female. It was the typical motor club story. Worth a credit/money.. sure flip a coin.

I have to say WD is one of my favorite series. I think Ive read the books over 3 times already. A must read and definitely worth the credit. Great narrators. Chantal Rocks!!

Sebastian York is excellent as usual

Great story and as usual Sebastian York performed with aplomb. I find the female narrator a bit shrill.

Vinnie and Shay

Another exciting instalment in the series. Vinnie has surprised me, he was the quiet, in the background one in the previous books. He sure made an impression on me, same with Shay. They are so cute together, loved their journey to HEA peppered with excitement, suspense and lots of hot loving.

I love how the author gives us a glimpse into the future at the end giving us a HEA and more.

As with the previous stories Ms. Christensen and Mr. York made me love the story and the characters even more, great voices.

I'm a sucker for the Wind Dragon men! I love that when they fall, they fall hard. Shay is my next favorite heroine after Faye. She fit right in with the girls. As in the previous books the narration was fantastic.
