Wort the credit. Well I love a V card novel and when the man is saving himself for the loose chick I'm always locked in. The story had such a sweet end and a Three's Company mishaps and misunderstandings it's makes for some fun making up. It's a keeper.

This series NEVER let's me down!

JB Salsbury is an auto download for me. I really enjoy the world she created in the MMA ... and am now enjoying the younger generations. Not only do you get a glimpse into the lives of previous fighters and their wives, you get a fresh story developed around their offspring and new and upcoming fighters. So credit worthy .... the book description gives a very accurate synopsis and I totally loved hearing every word!

Best of series thus far!

I've been waiting for so long for Axelle and Killian to get their love story and this audiobook was a great one to listen to. Still set in the world of UFL fighting, the story of Killian's break into the fighting scene during the most traumatic time of Axelle's life was riveting. You really want to pull for this couple to make it through all their difficulties and find a happy ending. Narration was excellent.

Excellent Series!!!

I did not want to write a review until I completed the series. I absolutely enjoyed the series up to this point with seven books and I am waiting to see what the next has to offer. They're all written very well with an amazing storyline. I love that each character has a story and how JB Salsburry brings them together. I also enjoy the fact that when he is writing the next book he is taking us back into previous books and storylines because they are all living simultaneously.

Honor catches on slow - but in the end, it works

This is a tale of a woman who has to make it on her own. Armed with a single friend, she has faced down strife, family and infirmity. What a nasty family she has. The things she has had to endure. This book, shows how a person can open themselves up to help and love. How friendship is a balm for the soul. This book is about support. There is romance and very little to no sex. If you looking for steamy, this isn't it. But, if your looking for a sweet comfortable tale it great.

It can be a little long about the middle, with one to many denials here and there. Maybe 20% shorter would do. That said, the narrator, Will Damron did a fine job and made the story work. I liked the other characters. Also, I like the backstory of Alexi and how her story wove in. A nice tidy package. I give this novel a solid thumbs up.

Don't Help Me

Rather than "Don't Tempt Me" the title of this book should have been "Don't Help Me". While I love strong, assertive and independent female characters, I found Honor's attitude of "I am Superwoman and don't need anyone" incredibly annoying.

Being self reliant is normal and reasonable for a mature adult but being a constant martyr is just dumb. I really didn't understand why the hunky and lovable Jason was so enamored with such a cold, uptight and rigid woman.

The rest of the characters (neighbors & their friends/family) and a cute dog almost made up for the boring heroine. The author did an excellent job of creating several sexy males characters who were mature, gentle & non-violent.

Love the Romance and Mystery wrapped together in one story.

This is a great story about step siblings who were torn apart when their parents had a bitter divorce.

Now that they are adults, they have found their way back to each other thru their jobs- Kim is a well known journalist, with a video blog and Brian is the well-known producer of a TV show called âHauntedâ. When Kim finds out that its her former step brother, she is excited to reconnect and sheâs hoping that in seeing him, the past can be laid to rest in more ways than one and they can be friends again. When they finally meet, something happens between them which makes both of them rethink the working relationship and focus on the personal side.

There are several twists and turns in this story along with some danger and mystery and this is a right proper romance story. I loved the flow and beat of the story. Both the MC have scars from the past but they do not let it hamper them in the present or to hurt them in the endeavors for the future. Great story.

Great story - narrator talked too fast

I love Jill Mansell's books! This was a fun story with a group of great characters.

I had to listen to it at .75 speed though cuz I thought the narrator raced through some of the story. Slowed down, it was perfect!

Fabulous story, fabulous narrator

I bought both the print and audio version of this book..The narrator brought Jill Mansell's wonderful story completely to life. It was so well done that at times I stopped reading, just so I could savor the spoken words. Just a great story!

Recording

I had to slow down the recording. When listening the audio at times was fast and at other times even. By slowing it down some if the characters sound creepy mostly the men . I listen to many book this is the first time I have ever had an issue with a recording.

Love Jill Mansell, but this one isn't great

I've read (and/or listened to) nearly all of Jill Mansell's books and I love her style of writing. Her books always seems to fit a certain mood & are generally a lot of fun. This book, however, was really boring & overly predictable. There wasn't a lot of story-building or even laugh-out-loud moments. Disappointing.

This book is simply a juxtaposition of different sections from the 1st the books. It isn't a reading from her journal and it isn't a continuation of the storyline.

This book bummed me out.

First Impressions: I quickly noticed that the chapters in Chasing Spring were really short, making it hard to really get into the story before switching POVs (there were three, two first-person present and one third-person).

I want to state here, for the record: that I have loved every R.S. Grey book I've read so far, so my expectations were high for Chasing Spring.

Then I really got into the book...and things did not get better. After awhile I really didn't like the narrators. Their Texas twang just felt forced.

But what got me the most, was how infuriating the main character, Lilah was. You know those books where the character just makes dumb decisions and assumptions after another? That was this book.

Final thoughts: This book...this book bummed me out. I wanted so much more from it. But it just fell flat for me.

Just Awful

This was the worst book I've listened to in a very long time. The characters and dialogue were cliche and underdeveloped. Tanner, the male main character, was totally unlikeable. The dialogue was stiff, hokey and overly dramatic, and the narrator was just awful. Her male voice made every guy sound the same and sound like an 80 year old. I struggled to finish. The first book in the series was terrible and I thought it would get better but it's only gotten progressively worse. I can't listen to anymore!

Fair book and terrible narration..

This could have been better if the author had spent more time on the characters looks. Kyla had blue eyes and that was it. I have no clue what she really looked like. And no idea what Tanner looked like either. The book would say she was beautiful and he was built like a god. That makes for a bad read.

Tanner was self-centered and arrogant through the entire book, except for the last chapter. It was really hard to like him when he kept thinking about getting home and living like he was used to and how horrible the building was and how horrible the kids were when he had to play Santa for 3 weeks for his community service. His thoughts were mostly terrible. Kyla was much better and I thought she deserved better than Tanner. Really, all he thought about was getting out and getting Kyla in his bed, under him, tasting her, yada, yada, yada.

There were 3 explicit sex scenes and very little swearing.

As to the narration: Samantha Cook was terrible. She thought that she just had to roughen her female voice and that would be fine as a man? Umm, no. It sounded just like a roughened female voice, nothing like a man. Also, she was soooo boring when she read. Through the entire book she sounded like a robot. I would never want to listen to her again.

A good story.

I really liked this story. It kept my attention and the plot was enjoyable. I loved the beginning where the hero shows up sick and they carry him up the stairs unconscious. It was quite the visual. The whole story line was very good with good characters.

The only bad thing about this audio book is that there were numerous editing screw ups. They were very distracting. I will, however, be looking for more books by Jill Sanders.

Boy meets girl, he's smitten. Girl meets boy, she dislikes him on the spot. Throw in some awkward and funny moments, an up to no good best friend, and a hero who won't give up and you have a fun love story. Despite the light heartedness of the story there is also a couple of moments where your heart will ache for the characters. What I liked most about the H and h is that they deal with what life has given them and keep moving forward.

Would you consider the audio edition of Silver Lining to be better than the print version?

I haven't read the book yet but I am loving audio books.

I loved that Ben really didn't know the whole truth about Sarah's identity.

I just loved the how the whole story flowed and I liked how Sarah helped Ben with his sister. I enjoyed how Ben and his boss and sister showed up to tell Sarah the truth.

WHAT A CLIMACTIC & COMPELLING LOVE STORY

This listen ABSOLUTELY owned me from the very start - simply put Liam and Elissa's love story would've had me by the balls if I'd had any.... it was just that emotionally intense. I'm not going to go into detail about the plot because it would spoil it for you, but I can say that their journey to the HEA took 6 pain filled years and there was incredible highs and some devastating and heartbreaking lows during that time. I was breathless with it's beauty, speechless at it's nasty twists, left devastated by certain events, stunned and shocked at the joyous revelation and wowed by all the wonderful feel-good passion and romance.

The secondary characters were very loveable too and there was a side romance that blossomed and grew. Very passionate loving sex scenes, angst, drama, some humor, pain, a villain, great banter and dialogue and the H/H were perfect.... perfectly flawed.... perfect for each other and just perfect together. Told from Elissa's POV and everything was vividly brought to life by the talented voice of Andi Arndt.

Worth a credit? For over 10 hours it owned me... held me captive... entertained me... and left me wanting to listen to it all over again. So YES, totally, absolutely, completely and positively worth a credit.

So disappointing!

I actually listened to this twice thinking I must have missed something...Why was this called "Wicked Heart"? And what's with the cover photo? A butterfly? That doesn't tie in anywhere. I am taking time to do this review because there needs to a voice from non paid readers.

First, I really hate it when burning love develops in the first few pages for absolutely no reason other than they met. Unbelievable. And then we are supposed to buy into the lovers separating for 6 years and remaining celibate the whole time because they were so in love. People who can fall in love that easily seem likely to move on pretty quickly. There was just no foundation.

There was very little story here and none of it was unique. I really can't beleive this one has gotten positive reviews. Not even Andi Arndt (who is an amazing narrator) could save this one.
