I was concerned from the publishers summary that this was going to be "other people's stories" about big wins and losses, etc... Thankfully I was wrong.

Hogue gets right to work providing just enough context to set the stage and quickly gets on to valuation and risk management processes and best practices. He moves fast and it will require a 're-read' for me but the theory, application and resources are very clearly communicated and well organized .. with zero B.S. filler content!

Also.. This book is every bit as applicable to pre-money CEO's as it is to Investors. I'm in the middle of a seed raise and needed a primer to keep pace with our financial advisors.

What a wonderful manifestation!

If you could sum up Penny Stocks in three words, what would they be?

If you're wanting to start investing with penny stocks, this is the best way to do it. The pros of penny stocks is they are cheap and you can pretty much buy stocks that are worth $10 or less so it's definitely affordable. The problem with them is they are very volatile and more risky than your average blue chippers. I like this guide because it advises how you can mitigate the risk in penny stock and furthermore, invest wisely. Great guide and I would recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about the subject.

I know some of the basics of penny stocks but as much as possible I want to know more about it to improve my skills and knowledge in investing. So I got this guide which really didn't fail me in some ways. It's very comprehensible and helpful especially the basic guidelines that most experts use. I strongly recommend it to anyone who's trying to learn how to make a profit on the stock market without having too much money to invest. Worth recommending!

if you're a new comer trader like I am this is probably the best book you can start off with. Clear explanations of all the indicators, and some common sense money management rules with a sprinkle of spiritual guidance.

I like the strategies approach to trade the math instead of trying to predict price movement. Ive been paper trading this method lately and haven't been profitable yet. Partly because Ive yet to find a stock with a high ratio of intranet to overnight vol. Overall i believe this can work if perfect and with the right stock. Good luck all!

It is more important to understand why we buy and start changes step by step without force.

Saving should be considered as better prioritizing. If you don't buy something it doesn't mean that you haven't got something or limited yourself. You just decided to act differently. That creates the sense of limitation not because we haven't bought something but because now we are not acting as everybody else. So it is not limiting not to have something, it is limiting you not to act as everyone. That is the biggest issue, then it comes down to money saving and better prioritizing. We can easily live without much stuff that we buy but it is very hard for us not to act as everybody does. Mainly we buy stuff not because we truly need it, but because we live in consuming society.
