A joyous Friday the 13th to all of you wonderful campers out there! This year, we celebrate with our good friend Mike Snoonian of The Pod and the Pendulum & PsychoAnalysis podcasts by discussing one of the many early 2000 remakes of a classic slasher franchise. We'll talk about our favorite Jason actors, why this movie unfortunately loses more and more every re-watch, and debate which of the Winchesters is the sexiest.

With the release of The Suicide Squad this week, we thought it would be appropriate to talk about a slightly different film based on a DC comic about a rogue group of dangerous people on a suicide mission in South America! We'll discuss our love of Idris Elba, the unfair reception this movie received when it was released, and Stephen gives us a quick history of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" in popular culture!

This week we're going to celebrate the opening of Disney's Jungle Cruise by talking about an earlier attempt to adapt a beloved theme park staple: The Country Bear Jamboree! Stephen gives us an in-depth history of the Jamboree itself, we discuss our mutual love of both Christopher Walken and Stephen Tobolowski, and Brett has a lot of questions about how this bear-centric universe operates!

By the power of Greyskull, we have arrived to talk about this movie, based on a cartoon, based on a toy. We'll discuss the interesting history of Cannon Films, the careers of Dolph Lundgren and Courteney Cox, and we both lose some nerd cred by revealing just how much we really cared about He-Man. 

"You see, if the Train of Death doesn't kill him, then those crates of TNT will. Not to mention the two ton anvil hanging over his head, and—Oh, look. There's the Pendulum of Doom! What's the Pendulum of Doom doing here?! I did not order the Pendulum of Doom! It's overkill! Get rid of it!"

Sufferin' Succotash! In honor of Space Jam and its "New Legacy" releasing this week we're going to talk about the other live-action hybrid Looney Tunes film! We'll discuss the Brendan Frasier of it all, Stephen gushes about his love for Joe Dante some more, and we discover... is this movie better than Space Jam, actually? 

"Don't worry, death's not that bad..."

In honor of the release of Marvel's Black Widow, this week we're going to discuss Marvel's first foray into a female-led superhero franchise! We'll discuss Jennifer Garner's obvious reluctance to do this movie, its complete disregard of the source material, and our slow, Lovecraftian descent into madness as we realize just how bad this film is!

This week, we celebrate America's Birthday with our first ever returning guest: author and creator of The Endless Elsewhere Podcast, Mr. J.P. Leck! 

We'll discuss how historically accurate this movie actually is, book versus movie adaptations, and Stephen finds some interesting tangents to dive into.

In honor of Mr. Diesel's new Fast & Furious film release, this week we're going to talk about his attempt at bringing his Dungeons & Dragons character to the big screen! We'll discuss the disaster of a script, the career of Mr. Diesel himself, and Brett's complete heartbreak over how good this movie could have been.

On this episode, we get together with musical artist and long-time friend Sean Rose to truly embrace the awkwardness. We discuss the cultural phenomena this movie was, the warm hug of nostalgia this movie produces for Brett and Sean, and Stephen tries his best to find a deeper meaning buried within it all.
