Head to the back parking lot where hole 1s tee is near the parking spaces. Good amount of elevation, bring water! This is a great course and well taking care of. This was just a bad day of disc golf I look forward to laying this again. A replay podcast session will be done on this one when I do.

Johnson Park DGC  Texas (18-DGC): 12-07-2022  Full 18 Game: Course #82 in UDisc.  Borger, TX 79007

My Conditions Temp 53: 5mph winds ENE ( Start Time 1:43 pm)

Course Information

Moderately hilly, moderately wooded. Plenty of creeks and roads that bring a lot of O.B. into play.  Favors a variety of shots, including a lot of distance control with putters and mid-range discs. This course reminds me of a course appearing in an old Clint Eastwood Western. The park was extremely trashy, but the course itself is still worth playing.  This would be a beautiful course with some care, or maybe I just caught it at a bad time of year. I hurt my shoulder so I could not backhand as much as I wanted.

18 Holes / Concrete Tees / DISCatcher Pro (original) Targets / Mixed use, Public park / Established 2011

• Trying to stay away from my backhand because I aggravated my shoulder, but I’m not a good forearm/sidearm thrower.

My conditions Temp 56: 14mph winds WNW

This course is brutal because of the terrain.

Part 1: One through Nine
Part 2: Ten through Eighteen …  YOU are here!

Course Information (lots of woods and elevation, a tough course if you don’t hike or work out.) This course is not a beginner or novice; it would be too frustrating. The course is designed for pros.

They are located in Lula, GA, in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains. Destination DG is what we hope brings you out.  But the genius (i.e., Keith Johnson) who built the course and beautiful property is what they hope keeps you here to play the Red Hawk Ridge track.  Plan a trip, make it an experience, and bring all the homies! This course offers challenges that will endear and frustrate you at times. They hope to improve on certain aspects of this course as we grow the community here in Gainesville.
