Disney, Eh?

Welcome back to "Disney, Eh?", the Disney travel podcast from a Canadian perspective. Join us - Brandon and Krysta - for an "At the Parks" episode. A lot of Canadian Disney fans are looking at alternative Disney experiences right now, and one of the most popular destinations is Tokyo Disney - for good reason; It's popular, pretty, has a cool history, and actually more affordable than you may think! So we did some initial research for you so you have somewhere to start. Will you still have fun if you don't speak Japanese? What is different from the States parks? What's the same? How soon can I book? And what is the Lightning Lane / Fastpass / Standby line equivalent there? (Hint: That's not quite a simple answer.) Plus Daredevil Born Again spoiler-free reactions, the nerd stuff we are currently into, and the Disney news catching our attention this week. And even better - we have a segment of Better Know a Listener!

We go through Marvel's big Doomsday casting announcements - the suprises, the hype, and the way they did it. Plus Daredevil Born again spoiler-free initial reaction and the other Disney news catching our attention this week.

Welcome back to "Disney, Eh?", the Disney travel podcast from a Canadian perspective. Join us - Brandon and Krysta - for an "At the Parks" episode. We're back from a whirlwind busy trip to Disneyland (and Knotts!) this past February, and we chat all about Lunar New Year, our dining reservations, and, since this was our last Disneyland trip for quite a while, what it was like being Magic Key holders for the past year, especially living in Canada. It was a bittersweet trip to say 'ta ta for now' to Disneyland Resort, so we chat about some of the highlights of the past trip. Plus, spoiler-free initial reaction to Daredevil Born Again, and the Disney news catching our attention this week.

`Welcome back to "Disney, Eh?", the Disney travel podcast from a Canadian perspective. Join us - Brandon and Krysta - for a "Disney Eh Grab Bag" episode. It's the Fourth Annual Disney Ed Oscars, and we're back to be super judgemental. We chat the Oscars of course, and where the Disney company is sitting in the categories, as well as our opinions on all the best picture nominees - because yes, we watched them all! And then we run through our own Disney-specific categories... what will win the award for most rewatchable MCU fight scene? Or what is the best on-ride music in the Disneyland park? Or what is the best death scene by falling by an animated Disney character? The categories are random, and we have opinions! Plus initial spoiler-free reaction to Captain America: Brave New World, and the Disney news catching our attention this week.

`Welcome back to "Disney, Eh?", the Disney travel podcast from a Canadian perspective. Join us - Brandon and Krysta - for a "Disney Eh Grab Bag" episode. It's Valentine's Day (kind of) and we're being a bit cynical about it... So this week we're arguing about the most toxic Disney animated relationships. We're taking a shot at trying to argue for who is the most toxic relationship and who may have a redeemable future together. We each pick our three worst offenders... And then argue it out. Plus, some exciting news catching our attention this week, and some Superbowl nerdy predictions.

Welcome back to "Disney, Eh?", the Disney travel podcast from a Canadian perspective. Join us - Brandon and Krysta - for an "At the Park" episode. This week we're gearing up for our next trip to Disneyland - and it's our last one for a while. So we're chatting all about the Lunar New Year events at Disney's California Adventure. We discuss the entertainment, but of course what we're really excited for is all the food! We love a good food booth, after all! We run through the foodie guide, lament about what's missing, and chat about what we're most hoping to try. Plus, as always, the Disney news catching our attention this week.

`Welcome back to "Disney, Eh?", the Disney travel podcast from a Canadian perspective. Join us - Brandon and Krysta - for a "Disney Plus and Chill" episode. The time has come for another Blind Date with Disney, and this time Krysta watched the 1968 movie "Blackbeard's Ghost." Why did Brandon pick this one, what is going on, and how on earth does a movie about ghost pirates end up at a track meet? Plus our spoiler-free initial reaction to the Skeleton Crew finale, the 'nerd stuff' we're currently into, and the Disney news catching our attention this week.

Happy holidays and welcome back to "Disney, Eh?", the Disney travel podcast from a Canadian perspective. Join us - Brandon and Krysta - for a special "Holiday Time" episode. It's Krysta's ultimate favourite Christmas movie, and Brandon agrees it's the best version of A Christmas Carol, and it's the topic of this week's episode: A Muppet's Christmas Carol. We go over the casting and why this works so well and is so beloved. Plus a little, er, discussion about the cut scene, some of our favourite moments and songs, and we find out which character from the film Brandon is most like. (Hint: Surprisingly enough, it's not actually Scrooge!) Plus, as always, Skeleton Crew initial reaction and the Disney news catching our attention this week.
