Happy Thanksgiving! This week we are thankful for the opportunity to speak about the latest Disney feature animation release, Moana! Me and Mel were lucky enough to see this film over the weekend at D23's Destination D event and have much to discuss so without further ado, a bonus episode featuring our review of Moana! Let's go! Over the weekend we attended the D23 Destination D event held at the convention center in the Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World. While there we bumped into John Panda aka Big Fat Panda and instantly found a new friend. I have always wanted to speak with Panda and while we had met for smaller moments in the past, a true conversation never took place. Luckily this weekend fixed that and he was gracious enough to agree to appear on the show and discuss all that we saw and heard over the last two days. From Pandora to Star Wars to Shanghai and the Jungle Cruise, much was covered over the weekend and much more to be examined in this week;s episode. I hope you enjoy this as much as we did. Marvel Studios latest offering is upon us and with it comes our review of DOCTOR STRANGE starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Tilda Swinton, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, and Mads Mikkelson. This is Marvel's first steps into actual magic up on the screen in their cinematic universe. Previous it was always explained as "science we don't understand" but here is where we leap into full mysticism. Does it fit well in the established world? Is this just another origin story assembly line film or does it rise above that? Lots to discuss! Lets go! It's showtime!

On this week's DMH we take a final look at this years Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios with a review on the VR experience, The Repository. We also look ahead to the future and list what houses would be a welcomed addition to HHN next year. At the top of the show we go over this weeks Disney news as well and then head to the Facebook page to answer this weeks questions from the group. We are also very lucky to welcome Josh Moser to this episode as well. Josh was with us for our final night at HHN, his first ever visit, and we will discuss what his thoughts were going into the event blind. Lot's to discuss! Lets go! It's showtime!

Hello there! On this week's show we take a break from the big screen to welcome a member of our DMH Facebook Family to discuss her recent visit to Tokyo DisneySea, Tokyo Disneyland as well as Honk Kong Disneyland. Who is she? Her name is Laura Winberg and she was a delight to have on the show. It's fascinating to us getting the chance to speak with someone who lives overseas and discovered our little show. It's equally fascinating because Laura was able to recently visit two parks that I would assume are on many people's bucket list visits and all it took for her was the equivalent of a flight from New York to Florida. Following that we respond to this weeks questions posted on the group page in a segment that I have come up with a title yet but absolutely adore thus far. Lots to do! Let's go! It's showtime!

Another Hayley Mills feature is featured on this weeks installment of our Disney Movie Hour series. On this, our 63rd episode, we look back at Summer Magic. It has a handful of Sherman Brothers, a dash of Main Street USA and Burl Ives. What could go wrong? This week we also introduce a new weekly segment to the show were we will answer questions posted to the Disney Magic Hour Facebook group. Maybe a pinch of Guardians of the Galaxy too? Yeah, why now. Back into the colorful wilderness that is the ongoing Disney MOVIE Hour series here at the Disney Magic Hour. This week brings in the 1961 comedy starring Haley Mills, The Parent Trap. Having never seen the original, or remake for that matter, I was super excited to sit down and view this. It seems to have a very divided opinion for folks in the Facebook group but where did we land on it? As always we will ask our 3 questions after discussing the film scene by scene and they are...#1 Is this a morals driven or emotion driven film? Both? Neither? #2 What is the iconic shot of the film? #3 Does the film hold up today? Lots to do! Lets go! It's showtime!

Food and Wine. Arguably the most beloved event at World Disney World is in full swing so Melyssa, Steph and Lindsey take the tour around World Showcase hitting up numerous food stands and discussing their findings. Lots to do! Lots to eat! Lets go! It's showtime!!

Hands down, no contest, my favorite time of year is Fall. With Fall comes my favorite holiday and that is Halloween. With that come two of the most highly anticipated events in the Orlando area. The first is Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at Disney's Magic Kingdom which me and Melyssa will dive into. The seasonal party, held at night, features an exclusive fireworks, stage show, and parade while also giving the guests an opportunity to meet some of their favorite villains while trick or treating. It's lighthearted while serving up a family serving of spooky that everyone can enjoy. Over at Universal Studios, the scares come a bit harder though. This was my first Halloween Horror Night experience following years and years of wanting to be there but not having the opportunity. From haunted houses featuring properties like The Exorcist and The Walking Dead to original houses like Tomb of the Ancients, there is a ton to see and experience. Luckily I have an expert leading me through the darkened hallways as Jimmy Stiles joins the show this week. Are these events worth your hard earned dollar? What about the add on options? This week on the Disney Magic Hour we return to the velvet seats and darkened room of the Disney Movie Hour as we take a trip back to 1961 to breakdown and review 101 Dalmatians! This marked a large shift in the style of Disney animation from the sharp hard lines of Sleeping Beauty. Does the change effect the film negatively? Does it still work as a piece of entertainment? What is the iconic shot? We will tackle all of that over the next hour plus. Let's go! It's showtime!
