  • Summer Break Repeat - Ice Princess (2005) : Can you try not to like squish me?

We are coming to the close of summer break but as the Olympics are still going on we wanted to give you another sports one. This week we revisit Ice Princess from 2005. This one was so so so strange. Questionable age gap relationships, Kim Cattrall as a...mentor to youths? What is happening here?

  • Summer Break Repeat - Inside Out (2015)

Ok so here's the thing. We have been traveling and traveling AGAIN this week so we need a small break. Only a few weeks. We've selected a few episodes for you to revist during this brief break. With the recent release of Inside Out 2, revisiting the original seemed to be the optimal choice for this week's Summer Break Repeat.

  • Splash (1984) : I'm really a nice guy. If I had friends you could ask them.

This week...ladies you heard it here first...the secret to instant true love.

Step 1 : Be born a mermaid or some other mythological non human

Step 2 : Stalk a man in NYC

Step 3: Pretend to not speak english

    Step 4: Be naked

    Step 5 : Get down

Yep that's it! True love step by step.  Men are easy.  Well everyone's easy here in this 1984 classic film Splash. We have a lot of thoughts about this one and are delighted to discuss John Candy, men's ideal version of love, and the rise of Eugene Levy. All this and more this week on Disney Odd Pod.

  • Tall Tale (1995) : Don't Lose the Dream

It's American Folk legends meets...a super annoying and whiney kid? Yes. That's pretty much it in a nutshell. This week we discuss Tall Tale from 1995 which we were encouraged as it features Patrick Swayze but unfortunately we were very disappointed. Come on down as we try to get our lasso's around this one and discuss all things from riding ghots horses, pa's that give up way too easily and the all encompassing world of Oliver Platt. Are we telling Tall Tales this week? Let us know!

  • Hear My Song (1991) : It's Not An Animal, This is a Whippit

It's back to Ireland we go with this weeks episode Hear My Song from 1991.  Another obscure 90's Miramax film as we explore overgrown bushes, excellent dogs, a shocking and delightful appearance by a young "Mrs. Stannis" and as always we give you our thoughts on this one.  Does this deserve another round of Guiness on us or are we hitting a pitchy note here? Find out this week on Disney Odd Pod.

  • Color of Night (1994) : I Just Want Sex All The Time

The infamous Bruce Willis Schlong film. It's here our most scandalous film we've watched yet. Color of Night from 1994.  This movie really should have more iconic cult status...its odd, its gross, it's full of tits, it's perfect for a turn on Disney Odd Pod.  We discuss everything from the nudity, the tropes, the interworkings of the network of relationships, who killed Scott Bakula, and more on this week's episode.

We are experimenting with abrieviated formatting and not talking through the entire movie to try and bring you a more concise and fast paced podcast, thoughts?
