EPISODE 194: Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! We are back in the world of Leprechaun as we venture to the bright lights of Vegas to see what shenanigans that Leppy boy has in store this time with 1995's LEPRECHAUN 3. Hailed as the best of the franchise, does it really deserve that moniker, or is it again, just another forgettable horror sequel? @OfficialJoeyC is back AGAIN to join us on this wacky adventure of gold, gambling, body issues, and that mangy leprechaun. Hop in, we're going to Vegas, this week on the Dissect That Film Podcast #194.

Looking back at the first month of Season 3 and looking forward to what March 2025 has in store of us here at Dissect That Film!
Burt I. Gordon was a savant when it came to giant animal attack movies, bringing live animals on a massive scale to the screen in ways not seen in Hollywood. In 1957 he directed the GIANT locust movie BEGINNING OF THE END with legendary actor Peter Graves, bringing forth what he could do in this genre. We look back at this now almost 70 year old movie wondering if it still brings the magic, or if its's a forgettable classic, if that makes any sense. Watch out for the bugs on this episode of THE MONSTER ZONE.

Episode 193: Ladies and gentlemen, and everybody else in-between, welcome to an episode only the wild folks over on the Dissect That Film discord can bring to you. As Parker has stated many times, he's not a fan of Terry "Hulk" Hogan. So why not make him cover the first in Hogan's filmography, 1989's NO HOLDS BARRED. IT'S TIME TO RIP 'EM! Charlie from ALL THE PODCASTS joins us this week.

EPISODE 192: The juice is loose! Or at least we think so. Join us, along with Logan from @videovillaentertainment for a dissection 36 years in the making, as we look at the long awaited sequel to the 1988 classic, BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE. With most of the original cast back for another adventure with the dead, was the magic that we once knew from acclaimed director Tim Burton back? Or was it a tad to late to bring back this iconic world? With the inclusion of spectacular special effects, and a revamped score by Danny Elfman, this had the ability to be something special, but did it hit the mark? Lets find out, this week on the Dissect That Film Podcast.

In 1976, 2 giant gorilla movies hit the big screens. One being the giant ape we know and love KING KONG, and the other being one from a U.S./South Korean production called APE or A.P.E. or Big Horn...nevermind. With one having a high production value and some solid leading actors, this one was not that at all. But, the question is, was this a solid rip-off? Or does it belong in the "forget this ever happened" trash can? It's time to find out with our newest co-host Mikey. Lets stop monkeying around, or more APEing around on this episode of THE MONSTER ZONE.

We head back to the sewer this week with the @MovieDumpster dudes, as we look at the sequel to a classic creature feature, 1991's ALLIGATOR 2: THE MUTATION. 11 years after a massive alligator wrecked havoc in Chicago, another sewer Gator decides it's time to do it again, this time in sunny LA, or a city like LA. With an interesting cast of characters, wild effects and a plot that doesn't change much to the original, is ALLIGATOR 2 your typical low budget horror sequel, or does it belong with some of the best creature features around? Lets find out, this week on the Dissect That Film Podcast #191.

EPISODE 190: Happy Valentines Day everyone! Last year we dissected the 1981 slasher classic MY BLOODY VALENTINE. This year we dive into the 2009 ultra violent remake. Being the first movie entirely filmed in the latest 3D technology of the time, this remake brings the gore, the T&A and more killer miner goodness. We have our holiday movie co-host Official JoeyC with us to determine whether or not this is a worthy remake to a classic, or just another one of the many failed 2000's horror remakes. Lets find out, this week on the Dissect That Film Podcast.

EPISODE 189: WE'RE BACK!! It's time to travel back to the deep, dark pit of space, as we jump back into the Alien franchise with the latest addition, ALIEN: ROMULUS. Anna (Give Me Back My Action and Horror, The Barrens Hideout Podcast) and Charlie (Give Me Back My Action and Horror Movies, B-Action) join us to break down the latest from director Fede Alvarez to try to determine if this is a sequel worth the recognition beside the greats of the franchise, or is it a movie that panders to the fans and tries to hard with fan service instead of telling a good story? Lets find out this week on the DISSECT THAT FILM PODCAST Season 3 premiere!
