Stefan G. Bucher is the man behind 344lovesyou.com and dailymonster.com, which has spawned a book and the popular “Monster Maker” iOS app. He is the author of five other books, including the best-selling "344 Questions—The Creative Person’s Do-It-Yourself Guide to Insight, Survival, and Artistic Fulfillment." He has created designs and illustrations for David Hockney, Judd Apatow, and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He is an ADC Young Gun and has won a D&AD Yellow Pencil for book design, among many others.

Bethany Heck is a designer and the Creative Lead for Microsoft Power BI and the creator of The Eephus League brand of baseball scorebooks. She strives to create powerful visual experiences with strong typographic elements regardless of medium, and her work spans traditional printing techniques to responsive web design and mobile application work. She’s worked with the likes of IBM, EA Sports, ESPN, Bridgestone Tires and more, and her work has appeared in New York Magazine, the New Yorker, Wired, Smashing Magazine, Uppercase Magazine and several other international publications and art exhibitions.

Director of the Cranbrook Art Museum, Andrew Blauvelt is a designer, curator, and writer who focuses on the cultural and social contexts of design. He has curated several major design exhibitions for the Cooper Hewitt, the Walker Art Center, and other institutions. Blauvelt received his M.F.A. in design from Cranbrook Academy of Art and has been a practicing graphic designer for 30 years. Over his career, he has received nearly 100 awards for design, including the National Design Award. Blauvelt has served on the national board of directors of AIGA and is also an elected member of the global design association, Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI).

Suzanne McKenzie is founder and CEO of Able Made, an active lifestyle brand that inspires healthy living and combines bold design with responsible manufacturing and community outreach. Matt George is a country boy from Greenville, Texas currently serving as creative director at Tractorbeam. He enjoys calligraphy, Copenhagen, and collar stays. He earned his stripes at VSA Partners in Chicago, working with Fortune 500 companies before returning to his Texas roots in Dallas. During the past decade, he has cultivated and mentored young talent from across the country, often finding his designers poached by companies such as Nike, Google, and Amazon. He isn’t that mad about it.

Equal parts nerd and rebel, Matthew Wizinsky translates his discontent with the status quo through acts of design, research, education, and collaborative productions. He runs an independent practice, Studio Junglecat, a hub of investigative activities that include projects in communications, exhibitions, public interactions, social activism, and media experimentation. Wizinsky is also a full-time faculty member at University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning in the School of Design. He lectures and teaches studios on typography, interaction design, exhibition design, and more.

Mike Smith is the design half of Smith & Diction, a copy-driven branding studio based in Philadelphia, PA. He grew up skateboarding in the swamps of South Jersey and now he makes a living drawing circles and birds, apparently. He spends most of his time developing logo systems and riding his bike.

Michelle Dougherty has directed projects ranging from graphic design to commercial directing, including advertising, television and film title sequences, feature film marketing, and experiential design. She is an award-winning director who approaches all of her jobs with a designer’s sensibility and keen eye to detail. Whether she’s directing an international shoot with large numbers of talent or shooting a documentary about saving the whales, Michelle’s cinematic vision always translates into beautiful film or whimsically designed animation. Michelle’s projects have garnered awards as well as being featured at the Walker Art Center, Hammer Museum, and Cooper-Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.
