That's right she's back from Europe, and in this episode Lynn tells us about the provocative and some what sad life of one of the first femme fatals, Mata Hari. She is taking us on her own little euro trip over the next few episodes.
Meanwhile, Regina proves that you cannot teach her how to spell restaurant, or say Mata Hari when it counts.

In this episode Regina tells us about Theodosia Burr Alston's dramatic life and mysterious disappearance. Theodosia was the woman known as America's first gentlewoman, intelligent, courageous, and a trend setter. Top it all off with being in the midst of several political whirlwinds because of her father and it makes for a wild ride.

In this episode Lynn takes us on a whacky and wild ride with the tale of The Highgate Cemetery Vampire. Do you like the banana pants era better known as the seventies? Perhaps you are a fan of old cemeteries or spooky legends? If so this story with at least two headless corpses, a possible vampire, and two alleged wizards with a pretty big beef might be the tale for you!

In this episode Lynn brings us the story of Douglas Snair, the Luckiest Man in Canada. The ladies have seen some interesting titles assigned to people over the years, and they are mostly deserved, Douglas lives up to this rule! This story shows that The Halifax Explosion seems to be the subject material that keeps on giving.

Meanwhile Regina forces us to ask, do you want to play a game? That's right, she is bringing us the first game of Real Animal, Cryptid, or BS as she tells us about Drop Bears. That's right, Australia's most horrifying creature since the Magpie makes for interesting subject matter.

Do Something: The ladies are recommending reaching out to your local area SPCA, or animal shelter, in honor of the menagerie that season five is turning into.

In this new tale Regina brings us a love story of the most gothic kind while Lynn delights us with owls.

First Reg dives into the story of The Corpse Queen of Portugal, Ines de Castro, and her love Pedro the First, The Cruel. In a gruesome love story for the ages Pedro coins the term "f@ck around and find out" while inspiring art for generations and winning the heart of every little gothling to come for ages after.

It looks like the ladies dynamic is back to normal since Regina is back to being the darker side of terrible. We have not seen her so excited about a story since she pitched the tale of Tararre to Lynn...

Then Lynn brings us home with owls! If you are wondering how owls are disturbing, well just you wait...
With a plant queen, goddesses, a really specific way to die, and the tale of Lynn the Bard being robbed in her prime it is a wild ride.

Season 5 is turning out to be a pretty whacky place for our hosts!

Regina brings us the story of The Great Emu War with Australia making us all question ourselves as we cheer against our species, yet again.

While Lynn brings us the horror inducing tale of the Dolphin saturation accident leaving us feeling a proper respect for the ocean.

The world is a strange place that is filled with disturbing and strange tales. Join us for these two!

Season 5 is off with a bang as Regina tells us the tail of hippo ranching and what could have been a very big aggressive problem in the south. This story is busting at the seams with kooky characters, bad ideas, and a sense of entitlement that only the early 1900's can bring. It also makes us question what might have been if 'lake cow bacon' had become a core element in the American diet.

Lynn comes back with the whacky wtf'ery that is lizard people. People really believe in this stuff and take innocent lives because of their delusions. This cast is definitely NOT run by lizard people...
