As we wrap up this month's conversations about A Woman's Independence, it seems only reasonable that we would spend a few minutes describing the makeup of an independent woman. After a flurry of bombshell decisions by the "Supreme" Court, we are deeply disturbed about the direction the country seems to be taking. July is meant to be a celebration of our independence and so in this episode we are going to discuss ways women must fight for our independence!

This episode introduces a new short format, dubbed the Podcast Shorty! Keeping my Positive Pants on I wanted to share a few brief thoughts about the recent turn of events. This is a solo episode and point of view as my cohost Cecelia Benford is enjoying a well-earned vacation!

If you believe the saying that "it is always darkest before the dawn" well we are in good shape as things have (i.e. the Country has) certainly taken a bit of a turn recently, and not necessarily for the better, IMHO.
