In this episode, we talk Image Comics legendary comic Saga by Brian K. Vaughan with art by Fiona Staples. We are kicking off season 2 and recorded live from Illogicon 2019, a local Sci-Fi/Fantasy comic in the Raleigh/Durham NC area. Saga is not only a great comic with an exciting story but also has plenty of diverse characters and provided us with lots of talking points.

We'd also like to thank our friend, and author Michael G. Williams for helping us with recording. Check out his new book A Fall in Autumn from Falstaff books.

Bingo Love is a comic by Tee Franklin with art by Jenn St-Onge. It is a beautiful and sometimes tragic love story following two queer women of color. Bingo Love is a story about love, family, and aging. Bingo Love has humble beginnings as a kickstarter, but has received great reception and has been picked up by Image comics with more on the way.

The CW premiered a Black Lightning series in 2017 which is hard hitting and touches on many social, political and economic issues. We couldn't resist doing an episode covering season 1 as we are coming up on the premier of season 2.

We are back for part 2 with our friends from the up coming Villain and Vinyl Podcast. If you haven't listened to part 1, be sure to check it out first.
