Diversity Issues Podcast

In this episode, we talk about Rat Queens vol. 1 & 2, written by Kurtis J. Weibe, and published by Image. Rat Queens is a GLAAD Media Award winner, and has both strong female characters and good LGBTQ representation, but also had a change in artists due to the original artist being arrested. We talk some about that, but have also included links to various reporting in the notes below.

In this episode, we talk about Black and Black AF America's Sweetheart written by Kwanza Osajyefo with co-creator Tim Smith 3. We talk about both super heroes and race as it fits into the current political climate. These comics are two very different looks at a fascinating new world. In the episode, Tracy misspeaks and says that the two have different writers. Kwanza Osajyefo is the writer for both, it is the artists that are different.
