This is the last episode of Diving into Writing. During the episode, Mariëlle and Lucinda talk about how they realised it was time for Diving into Writing to come to an end so that something else – The Creative Well podcast – could come in its place.

that they’ve been called to go deeper for a long time but felt limited to do so
the role the Akashic Records played in reaching their conclusion and being able to embrace it without any resistance
how The Creative Well podcast will allow the to go deeper and beyond where they both currently are
that the new podcast is a place where we put our creative well-being first. On the show, we will talk about how to best take care of our creative selves so we can show up in the world aligned, empowered, and aware of who we are and what we came here to create

November 18, 2024 Episode 148 – Effect of Grief on Creativity
In this episode, Mariëlle talks about the recent loss of her mother and how it transmuted her creativity in the short term. Lucinda remembers how the death of her mother ten years ago affected her ability to create. Both consider the emotional burden combined with the practical aspects that occur with the death of a family member and how this differs from the death of a beloved pet.
The key lessons were:
Everyone is different but it’s essential to allow space to grieve whether that means we continue writing or not.
Eventual acceptance is easier if we can trust the universe to provide what we need.

Lucinda has started planning her entire week, not just the work part of her week

One of the things that’s keeping Mariëlle going these days is that she’s been feeling like she found her purpose and path
Mariëlle lets others beta any new work of hers, and that feedback usually propels her forward as well
