There is a huge amount of division in American politics today, and possibly the worst since the Civil War. The sentences for those who participated in January 6th, 2021 are wildly unjust, with some of those involved receiving 17 years imprisonment for social media posts. However, what is the real problem? Following the Civil War, the Moody Revivals established some stability for the country, and that is certainly what the US needs today–a revival of the hearts and minds of the American people.
