Mary Beth is a partner with the law firm of Atwood & Cherny and has been with the firm since 1998. Her practice includes all aspects of domestic relations and probate litigation in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. A significant portion of her practice involves custody matters and children’s issues, including the impact of a child with special needs in a divorce case. Mary Beth has expertise in custody, removal, visitation, and Hague Convention matters (where a parent abducts a child to/from another country). She was one of the trial attorneys responsible for the first highlighted “virtual visitation” case in Massachusetts, as it pertained to a creative method of contact for a non-custodial parent in a removal matter. A component of her practice also includes representing family members in Estate Litigation matters in both the Probate and Superior Courts of the Commonwealth.  Mary Beth is an elected Trustee with the American Inn of Court, currently serving a four-year term.  She is a Past President of the Massachusetts Family and Probate American Inn of Court and is the Past President of the North Shore Women in Business.  Mary Beth also serves by appointment and agreement as a Guardian ad Litem in family law cases and is regularly appointed as a Conciliator by various justices of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Courts.  She is a trained mediator and collaborative law attorney and works as a Parenting Coordinator.  Mary Beth also volunteers her time with the Andona Society.

Robin Fleischer is the owner of Fleischer Law Solutions, which provides legal solutions for clients going through divorce, and other family law issues such as custody, guardianships, child support, modifications of existing orders.  

Robin has been practicing law for over a decade and she represents clients in Essex, Middlesex, Suffolk and Norfolk County.

Her philosophy is that each client’s situation is unique and she works with each client to determine the best strategy to obtain their goals.   That may be working collaboratively in an attempt to obtain a settlement out of court, or fiercely litigating at trial.

Robin is the Vice President of the North Shore Women Lawyer’s association.  She is also a trained mediator and a Guardian ad Litem and a member of the Massachusetts Association of Guardian ad litems.

Robin also provides criminal defense as a court appointed public defender in the Peabody District Court.  

Before becoming a lawyer, Robin was a paralegal in her Father’s law General Law firm where she was exposed to all areas of the law.  This training gave her the passion to help people navigate the difficult and often frustrating legal system.

In her spare time she likes to cook, travel, listen to her son and Husband play music in their jazz band and walk and train her rough collie, Zoot.

Lisa is also active in the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) community, serving as secretary of the State Bar of Michigan’s ADR Section Council for five years, receiving the ADR Section’s “George N. Bashara, Jr., Award” and its “Hero of ADR” Award, and now chairing its Legislation and Court Procedures Action Team (LCPAT). The Supreme Court Administrative Office appointed Lisa to serve on the Collaborative Law Court Rules Committee that drafted the Collaborative Law and Consent Judgment court rules adopted by the Michigan Supreme Court.

Miriam Kosowsky is a certified  attorney-mediator with over twenty-five years of legal experience. She is the Vice President of the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation, the premier family mediation organization in Massachusetts.  Miriam graduated with honors from Harvard Law School.  At Harvard Law School, where she was the president of the Family and Children’s Rights Project.  Miriam has a psychology background that is helpful in her mediations, having majored in developmental and cognitive psychology at Barnard of Columbia University,  where she graduated second in her class. 

 Before becoming a mediator, Miriam worked as an assistant district attorney in Norfolk County and then as a corporate litigator at Sullivan & Worcester, LLP in Boston.
