Before I worked in finance, I was a professional opera singer. I trained at Sam Houston State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Music Performance with a minor in voice (2004). Being a planner by nature, I soon realized my heart would always be in music — but my financial security didn’t lay in the arts. In 2010, I graduated from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas with a Masters of Business Administration and entered the world of finance.

In 2015, I was privileged to join Baird. Knowing the value of education in delivering great client outcomes, I completed study through the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts to obtain the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™ (CDFA®) designation in early 2017. In 2020 I underwent the interdisciplinary training offered by Collaborative Divorce Texas which means that I am qualified to help facilitate a Collaborative Divorce. In 2018, I also successfully earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification.

I am a proud native Houstonian, and I enjoy my hometown’s many opportunities for adventurous eating. Outside of work, I am an enthusiastic amateur equestrian, yoga practitioner, hiker, tango dancer, globetrotter, and lover of fine whiskeys. On the weekends you can find me at Solstice Farms with my little dog Foxy Lady and my pony Chico. Fun fact! Nearly every photo on this website is one that I've captured (or been captured in) while out adventuring.

After her 8th child took the oath to serve in the U S military, Ann decided to bring her work ethic and integrity and return to her financial services career.  Constantly on the go, she is happiest when exploring new places with her husband Derek.  Depending on the season, they are most likely hiking, cross country skiing, rafting, or traveling across the globe though they will also tell you a relaxing weekend with their dog Twyla can be pretty special too. Lance is a native Texan who grew up in Corpus Christi. He attended his beloved University of Texas at Austin and obtained his B.B.A. in Finance in 1990. Lance attended law school at the University of Houston Law Center and completed his law studies in 1994. Public service was always important to Lance. This brought Lance back to his hometown where he served as a Chief Prosecutor for the Nueces County District Attorney for 11 years. Austin always beckoned so Lance and his wife, Christine, moved to Austin in 2005 where Lance served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Prosecutons Division - White Collar Crimes / Public Integrity section until his retirement from the State in 2021. In his public service career, Lance saw firsthand how people took advantage of others during dark times.
