In memory of going on random summertime rides with the family in the Gold 1980 something Camaro exploring this new state where the radio stations were limited with the genre selections. it was a culture shock but there were always hidden gems to that help made those country road car rides worthwhile. From driving around finding fishing holes to orchards for Apple picking and lakes to swim in... many times I just wanted to listen to the music while our father drove somewhere new & mystical while got some summer breeze and memories for a lifetime.

As the month moves to a New Moon phase it brings new mix dedicated to my favorite Uncle named Kirt. When Uncle Kirt walks into a room it instantly is infected by his fancy fun free spirit. This mix of Reggae music is just a snapshot of who is & represents to me not just an Uncle but as a shining light of love, joy, free spirit in a murky world. In Buddhist teachings the Monkey Mind is spoke of when introductions to meditation begins. It is the voice inside of our head that is always speaking to us, and guiding our future based on our experiences from the past. This podcast thru Jazz/Jazz fusion blended w/cartoons scenes & meditation tips speaks to Monkey Mind and ways of taming it. (The inspiration for this podcast came from weekend mornings w/my children. the journey thru the summer months are made longer with the heat & inability to just chill. trying to cramp in some work info on quality control process while wrestling the urge to succumb to the season of celebrations. the two world mesh with high energy, high drama, twist, turns, heels, and heroes all are part of the wrestling match that ensues. It's all WTF: Work Time Fun until the reality of life most be faced to improve the quality of the product produced which is ultimately oneself.
