Waha is set in forested hills in a remote wild area of Transylvania – for years the most important underground and alternative gathering in Romania. The kind of festival that doesn't announce itself loudly but that people who know, know.
I played the closing night after Tsuyoshi Suzuki, which set the frame: start with something acidic and hypnotic, matching the energy left on the floor, then let it evolve. The set gets progressively more psychedelic as it moves forward – groovy and tech-edged in places, deeper in others, twisted toward the end. 143 to 147 BPM.

Recorded DJ set – Hadra Trance Festival 2019, main stage, France. Scheduled around noon – the transition from morning psytrance into daytime progressive. ☀️
Hadra is the biggest psytrance festival in France and one of the most established psychedelic gatherings in Europe. The main stage at noon is a particular kind of challenge: the floor is still carrying the energy of the morning, but the sun is fully up and the music has to meet that shift.
The set starts at 143 BPM and descends to 138 – moving through several styles and grooves, changing approach and mood a few times along the way. Eclectic by design: the kind of set where I get to use the full range of what I listen to, creating a journey while keeping the flow intact. These transition slots are the ones I enjoy most.

Promo mix recorded ahead of my performance at Tribal Gathering 2020, Panama – February 29 to March 15, 18 days on a Caribbean beach. 🪘🌴
Tribal Gathering is one of the most extraordinary festival experiences on the planet: over 150 international acts on three stages, cabaret, circus and carnival, 60 tribes from across the globe – all on one of the most beautiful beaches in Central America.
The mix was made with one intention: a musical story that moves beyond styles and years. Tracks and artists selected from across a long period of time, arranged to flow as a single journey rather than a genre exercise. Psychedelic, twisted, deep, groovy, acid, melodic. Interesting psytrance. BPM: 143–146–143 – builds up, then comes back down at the end.

Last set of the night. Started at 148 BPM – intense, dark, full night psytrance – then eased slightly to 146 toward the end to transition the crowd toward the after party in a different location. The kind of closing set where you have to maintain the energy while signaling that something is about to shift.
Exenzia is one of the serious underground psytrance venues in Italy – the kind of club where the crowd knows the music and the decorations match the sound.

Recorded DJ set – Biocross party @ Cross Club, Prague, Czech Republic, March 21, 2018. ⚙️
Cross Club is one of the most spectacular underground venues in Europe – a multi-level labyrinth of industrial pipes, engines, gears and moving parts, all lit up and pulsing. The setting does something to the music played inside it.
When I arrived the DJ before me was playing dark progressive – I had to pick up from there. What followed was a surprise even for me: starts with an industrial tech-trance sound, moves into psychedelic trance territory while keeping the techy edge, then finishes with a more organic, twisted feel. 139 to 146 BPM.
The kind of set that happens when the room shapes the music as much as the DJ does. Out of the box psytrance – if that's your thing, this one's for you.

Amural is a street art festival centered around the medieval center of Brașov – an unusual context for this kind of music, and that unusual context shows in the set.
This one doesn't fit in a box. Ambient, dubtech, psychill, experimental, tribal, ethnic, trip hop, folkloric, dub, psychedelic, futuristic jazz, electronica, psybient, acid, psy rock, ceremonial – electronic and organic constantly in conversation.
