When it comes 2 NYC House Music, the 1st name I think of is Todd Terry. Back in the dayz when I was carrying that Chicago House Flag in Orlando Florida & then heard Todd Terry'z 1st House joint'z, I was like, Chicago we have a problem LOL
I fell in love with ALL of Todd'z joint'z & so did Chicago & tha world. On this promo tape you will hear just a taste of Todd'z work & all tha joint'z are right on point!!! I was God blessed 2 have done a re-edit for Todd Terry & DJ Pierre'z 'Funky Tee'z" on Freeze Records.

June 19, 1993 Frankie Knuckles - Hot 97 All Night House Party, NYC 6-19-93' (Manny'z Tapez)
Here'z yet another dope mixtape by the legendary Frankie Knuckles. I know I said this b4, but I like how Frankie transitioned musically when he moved back 2 NYC from Chi-Town. I prefer his NYC style because his style in Chicago was great but 2 many DJ'z played the same songs & when Frankie went back 2 NYC, he cultivated a style of House that only came from him. And all the other NYC DJ'z played their own way & somehow it seemed like there was a lot more music being distributed in NYC. But I must say that Chicago got their dose of rare Italian Disco that didn't get very far from the wallz of Chicago.
