This is the first of our pods telling the story of our recent trip to Osaka, Japan where we immersed ourselves into the JDM motherland. From the insane Osaka tackle show to the delicate Megabass showcase event and everything in between we hope it gives listeners a tiny insight into our adventures some 6000 miles from home.
There will be way more to come and we will deep dive into some of our purchases and various lure that we hope to see in the UK in the future.
Thanks to all our listeners, we appreciate you more than you know.
Tight lines, D & A

We're back with some BIG news for Episode 5. In fact, the news is so BIG it demands a BIG intro as well. So, we are honoured to have our good friend and lure angling behemoth, Thom Hunt ease us into this podcast, where we reveal our upcoming travel plans. As well as what we haven't been catching recently and some of the things we are looking ahead to in 2024.
January and February can be a miserable time for the fisher-person and that can inevitably lead to spending our hard earned pennies on lures in an effort to get some kind of fishing dopamine hit. And boy, are we going for the biggest, grade-A hit of retail therapy available to anyone that enjoys Japanese fishing tackle!
As ever, thanks for all your kind messages. We appreciate every listen, download and play more than you possibly know.
Tight lines and we look forward to coming in your ears from somewhere on the planet very soon.

(Our Producers would like to point out that Dan wishes nothing but good things for all bears, regardless of species and that, in hindsight his offer to fight a bear may be at best foolish.)

In what is likely a ground-breaking podcast, we pit our wits against each other in the first ever 'live' recorded lure fishing tournament. Fished on the Kennet and Avon Canal in Hungerford, which holds a decent stock of both Perch and Pike. How will we each approach the venue with a randomly selected set of rules, and ultimately who will come out on top? Will it be former and current UK street fishing champion and Hungerford specialist Adam Kirby or will it be Bakery aficionado Dan Sissons? High jeopardy, fish aplenty, Jack pike and even a magic, canal 40cm Perch are all guaranteed.
Happy holidays everyone, DnA.

After the high-kicking hoopla of episode one we leave behind the mind bending complication of species hunting and instead focus on one of the prettiest fish and indeed hardest fighting targets which is the mighty Ballan Wrasse but not before Adam takes us on an early season recce on the canal. Armed with hard-body lures ranging from small Jerkbaits to micro Shad Baits, this was just an excuse to get some JDM lures wet, but the session quickly became way better than expected.
Back in the salty stuff and we both jumped aboard the boat to fish some very shallow ground with the sole purpose of getting the rods hooped up on some colourful rockfish. On a day where the Free-rig dominated proceedings we take a closer look at what makes this method so deadly.

The first of our Pods takes us deep into the UK's West Country to once again test our stamina and skill against some of the best light game anglers around.
The Cornish Lure Festival has long provided saltwater anglers a stern test but this year saw some pretty radical format changes that made us have to work even harder for every fish.
We break down how small tactical tweaks can reap big rewards and how no matter the experience any angler can lose their sanity when the fish won't play ball!!
This bumper episode starts at the beginning and ends at the end of what was an immense weekend.
Enjoy and tight lines. Adam Kirby and Dan Sissons.
