The 2024 NFL Draft is in the books and opinions on the Denver Broncos selection of Bo Nix, 12th overall in the first round have been mixed. We look at what makes Nix different from most first-round quarterbacks and dig into his true strengths and weaknesses. How can we separate the accuracy numbers from the Oregon offense and the much more inaccurate version we saw at Auburn? Nix’s most common knock seems to be the deep ball, but where does he really stack up against QB prospects over the last 5-10 years? And when we talk about arm strength what are we talking about? Is it deep-ball accuracy, is it raw arm strength? Is it zip over the middle or talent to get it to the sidelines with ease? All that and more as we get to know Bo Nix in detail as a prospect and what it means for the Broncos long-term.
