Do Geese Have Udders?

Another rant opens this episode. This time, Michael is very unhappy with how unhelpful toasters seem to be, which also sparks a microwave memory from Matt.

Once Michael picks it up from across the room, the pair also have another crack at Matt's Fact Folder. Upon pulling out a blue card, it is full of more questions for the pair to ask one another in order to find out a bit more about each other.

Matt seems so certain he has the best hearing that he proves what he can apparently hear...

Michael opens this episode with a yawn - which is always a good sign - and leads him straight into a nice rant about his history with alarm clocks and how much he detests the creatures.

But all is not lost, as he believes he has found an alarm clock online which would solve an awful lot of his problems, where instead of an annoying alarm or radio blaring at you, Stephen Fry welcomes you into the day with his soothing voice.

Matt also shares a 'fact' about cockerels and or roosters. (an alternative episode title; Jeeves and Rooster).

It's been a few weeks, so it's time we revisit Matt's Fact Folder (or whatever it's called) before he forgets it again.

On this card, Matt prevents Michael with a bunch of facts in the style of questions, including; something illegal in France which is legal in the US, a service you can pay for in Japan and a bizarre story about crows.

Matt has also clearly never heard anyone pronounce the name of the Disney character "Moana" out loud before...

Back to chatting nonsense with not one but two "theories" featured in today's episode.

The first being one of the most ridiculous conversations Michael has had with Matt regarding something to do with Australia (even whilst editing it, he still has no idea exactly what they were talking about). However, all is not lost as they do share the differences between crocodiles and alligators; so that's something.

The second theory is one that Michael has found online called "The Shopping Cart Theory", which Matt is also aware of, which highlights a great test for revealing a persons inner goodness and moral compass...

In our final episode with Rebecca (for now), somehow Matt starts off the show by developing a full conversation about his favourite chair and how humanity can improve on the piece of furniture.

Matt then blows Michael's mind again by actually KNOWING about a topic of conversation which he didn't know was coming, to do with The Emu War. Matt then breaks down his plan of action for how he would have gone about winning it, whilst Michael and Rebecca tell him why he's wrong...

Rebecca's still here and she joins Matt and Michael in covering a lot of topics today.

Michael shares a fact about Piggy Banks (which lasts less than 60 seconds), Matt shares his love for the recent 'Loki' series and his excitement for the new Marvel 'What If?...' series (which should already be out by now) and the three of them quickly share their opinions on modern art.

Michael brings up a viral tweet from 2018 without realising, about a job titled Penguin Erector... which sadly, unknown until recording had wrapped, doesn't actually exist and was shut down by Edinburgh Zoo (sorry!).

We start our second episode with special guest Rebecca by talking about what Michael dubs as being the most important sporting event taking place right now for the world to watch; however, it doesn't seem to be the Olympics. We're also aware that the Olympics have since ended, but we're just going to pretend it's still going because we didn't realise the closing ceremony was so soon.

But once Rebecca steers the conversation towards the "Human Olympics", she proposes a new idea for how participants should be selected to represent their country. The trio also discuss which events they would hate to be partaking in where they would be needing to represent GB...

Matt welcomes Rebecca - a brand new guest for todays episode - in what Michael believes to possibly be the worst transition so far for guest introduction.

Rebecca, like our previous guests, knows our usual pair through Scouting and is too a part of the Amateur Campers series on Michael's YouTube channel (Michgoo). She enlightens us to her knowledge of physics and her fairly recent trip to the European Space Agency and the amazing experiences she had there.

She also helps the DGHU team tackle a Solar System related issue they've recently discovered the show seems to be facing, whilst Michael also shares a problem he seems to be having with what should be an easy sport...

Our second episode in our backup location so apologies for the minor echo, however it hasn't stopped Matt from pulling another card out from his folder and in this episode, he uses it to get to find out a little more about each other.

On this green card, Matt has a variety of statements and both he and Michael must work out who "wins" each time; topics including who is the best at sports, who sneezes the most and who can be the most annoying (spoiler, that one's Matt).

Apologies for the minor echo, however the shed seems to be being used for its purpose and is too full for us to set up in, and so for a couple of episodes, Matt and Michael have recorded in their new backup room (which thankfully, hasn't got a metal roof so we could record in the rain!).

For the main topic of today, Michael breaks down some newly discovered products of the famous Mandela Effect which he has come across online regarding a famous cartoon and a hit Queen song...

Matt also regales us with yet even more stories of his injuries and near death experiences...
