When you grow a team and bring on employees, business partners or specialists (buyer's agent, listing agent), it's really important to have a system and structure in place to do that smoothly and effectively.
If you don't have a solid and consistent hiring/firing procedure, that will likely always be a pain. Do you post a job ad on Craigslist, that has very little detail, and just take whoever responds first? Not advisable.
Do you offer attractive compensation that incentives all teammates to produce leads and close deals? That's the rising tide that raises all boats. Build it into your business plan.
Do you have and stick to a budget for your business? Do you review it regularly to ensure you're on track and make needed adjustments?
I review business planning and budgeting with Rod Jorgensen of the Small Business Development Center at the University of Nevada, Reno.
