Contrary to some common misconceptions, Stoicism had always been a philosophy of care: care for truth, care for people, care for self, and care for the world we live in. Character + Cosmos + Control = Choice

The catch: once you realize that you don't have to get upset when something upsetting happens, you gain a new sense of control over your emotions.
Sooo... be patient to yourself, and don't expect to become a brand new person overnight. But one time, you will create more space for positive emotions like enjoyment, goodwill, and cherishing others.
