Does belief in the inerrancy of the Bible mean you have to believe in a young earth?
Well, many Christians claim they believe the Bible is inerrant, yet they hold to millions of years. They do so inconsistently!
You see, belief in a young earth is a consequence of standing on biblical authority. If we truly believe the Bible is God’s inerrant Word, we must start with God’s Word and not reinterpret it to fit into man’s ideas.
