We sat down with Elizabeth Eurgubian, former NCUA Board Member, to explore the current state of the National Credit Union Administration and what it means for the financial services industry. The NCUA is structured to operate with a bipartisan, three-member board--with members appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate. Since the election, the NCUA Board has been functioning with fewer than three members, raising important questions about oversight, governance, and decision-making.
