I'm joined Aaron, who is basically my step brother I guess? I don't know. But he brought his college friends Dylan and Anish who I never met before until this very recording. They're very unhinged but we all bonded this day. Things to note. Dylan was very upset about the Eagles losing the super bowl. Aaron discovers breathing way too late in his life. And Anish is wearing a mask of being a narcissist but in reality, he is one? We're still not quite sure. All we know is that Aarons girlfriend is the smartest person in the room.
Dear class of 2020. I know this year has been weird entirely. But what isn't weird at this point? Many things have happened this year that's been very unexpected. But in the end we can all agree that it's also been equally rewarding. Our class has had to face some real challenging things that's unorthodox to the normal day to day routine we grew accustomed to. Like having to wear masks or going virtual entirely. Or having to stay after for Mrs. McMartin one day after telling her she looked really pretty.
But not all things were different. We had to tackle school as intended. From staying up all night and studying. To actually passing that very hard math test. Or in my case, staying after class for Mrs. McMartin, and having her scold you for making such comments about her beauty. But in the end, it only made you fall in love with her even more thanks to her demanding, yet caring tone. But together while facing this pandemic. We learned that we all start somewhere. Some of us are from broken homes. Others with disabilities that they had to overcome. I like to think I started to grow up the moment I felt Mrs. McMartin gently caresses her palm on my inner thigh, telling me that I'm more of a man than her husband is. It's in these moments that we start becoming who we are. As men. And as women. We become.
The point is, we faced these challenges head on. We never stopped and asked if what we were doing was right. Like if we should stop playing football? Or stop having high school plays? Or to stop seeing one another because there's a chance that Mr. McMartin can find out. WE DIDN'T STOP BECAUSE IT WAS HARD, WE PUSHD PAST IT BECAUSE I WAS HARD. I mean it was hard. We didn't quit on each other. We didn't quit on ourselves or on our teachers. Which means we didn't quit on the ones that we love. Especially the ones that we love.
Now its unsure how the rest of our life is going to be after high school. Some of us will go to college. Some of us will go into the armed forces. Others, or maybe its just me. We will find that perfect ring for the perfect woman and ask her to put her marriage and kids aside for honest true love. I don't know. Anything can happen! Look, everyone has their own experiences. And only you can learn from them. I learned so much in my time here and it's thanks to my peers and Mrs. McMartin, especially for showing me ways and things I never knew to be possible. Like Dylan, when you showed me to pick up women and like Anish who showed me how NOT to pick up women.
Mrs. McMartin you showed me that there's multiple ways to be punished that doesn't involve just staying after school. That leather isn't anything to be afraid of. That being caught is what drives us together in these crazy times of COVID 19. Mrs. McMartin you drive me wild and it's all thanks to you for helping relieve during these incredibly stressful times. So many moments this year I felt like I was gonna bust. But thanks to you. I did! I do love me some McMartin, right fellas? *turn to Dylan and Anish and give them high fives* They know what I'm talking about. We all got with her. But it's me who loves her the most. So to this I ask the class and the attending audience a couple questions to leave with. Will you be the person you are meant to be? Will you rise up to the challenges everyday life with throw at you? Will you leave your husband for me? Will you run away with me? WILL YOU MARRY ME, MRS.MCMARTIN?!
