These sections emphasize faithfulness, humility, and charity. Additionally, in Joseph Smith—History, it narrates the experiences of Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery, including the visit of John the Baptist, who conferred upon them the Aaronic Priesthood on May 15, 1829. This event enabled them to perform baptisms and was a significant step towards the restoration of the priesthood authority on earth. They experienced profound spiritual manifestations and prophetic insights following their baptisms, solidifying their mission amid local opposition.
