You would think a particularly religious Jewish person might be a full throated apologist for the state of Israel and all it's actions but for this Ultra Orthodox community it is the exact opposite. Cum to North London with us (and VICE)as we meet the Neturei Karta, an orthodox sect that believes that the foundation of modern Israel is illegitimate because the messiah has yet to cum around and say "what's up?" (Jesus doesn't count). They have an interesting reputation in their Stamford Hill neighborhood. For the June Shorties this month we are examining a few different angles of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. This short documentary examines the damages that occur when Israeli law allows "settlers" to simply take housing that Palestinian people have lived in for a long time. To quote the lizard guy in that band "Aerholesmith" we're BAAAAAAACK IN THE SADDLE AGAAAAIIINNN!!! The Documenteers has officially returned and we're excited to sexualize some cephalopods! Not too much sexualization, actually, but Bob and Angela ARE back and they're discussing the winner of the 2021 Academy Award for best Documentary and it's called "My Octopus Teacher" by Pippa Ehrlich & James Reed. Some guy connects really hard to a young Octopus off of the southern coast of South Africa. It's Trials of Life wrapped up in a guy's feelings. Plenty of interesting nature stuff and a guy that loves to wake this Octopus up and make him hang out.

The new Documenteers is also here to flex on some fools and call out some other podcasts that attempted to fill the gigantic vacuum that we left behind this past year after we stopped doing the show.
