Dogears & Timestamps

What may be an underrated effect of media becoming so high quality, is the ability to tell stories in a compelling and evocative fashion that wasn't available before. The difference in researching a catastrophic event, and experiencing a catastrophic event, is story-telling. This miniseries is an example of that.

I am excited to present what may be our least popular episode ever! I just wanted to test out talking about anime, and it was really helpful to have a banked episode like this one. Hopefully y'all get something out of it too.

This episode was recorded the night of 7.20.19.

I don't really know where to begin or go with this description. I hope some of y'all read this book along with us, and can help me find something other than what I did.

Anyways, maybe saying that we are taking a bookclub summer vacation says enough.

Holy shit so much is going on it I could literally have a day long anxiety attack over it all and honestly I'm not even mentioning the book I literally had a day long anxiety attack today. I am so glad I finished the section of reading yesterday. Imagine two day long anxiety attacks in the same day. About as difficult as making the jump from a Solar orbit to a Geocentric orbit at the L1 Gateway.

Y'all. The day we recorded this was the 50th anniversary of the Moon Landing, and we forgot to mention it. WE COULD HAVE LOOKED SO COOL, LIKE WE HAD PLANNED TO START THIS SERIES IN TIME WITH THAT.

But we blew it.

This episode was recorded the afternoon of 7.16.19, the 50th anniversary of the Moon Landing.

I'm going to miss this book. Even more than that, I'm going to miss when I fell in love with Evelyn Hardcastle and hoped that we were going to be seeing a whole lot more of her; before realizing that we weren't going to, and that it wasn't even her anyways.

This is how life goes, everything you love is a lie.

I don't know if y'all know this, but I love baseball, and tonight is the Home Run Derby, and my boy Alex Bregman is about to take the plate, so I'm done writing this description.

Alright y'all we're back and fuck a duck it's gotten wild in Blackheath! I'll bet 7 1/2 ducks that everyone dies at the end and the Plague Doctor just stands there, exasperated with the fools.

I like my dog a lot, and I guess I'm not a child with a child-brain, but I don't think I'd give up my idea of reshaping the world with my newfound power just because my dog was kinda against it. Like, shut up dog you're a dog I'm still going to feed you around seven.

Y'all, this book is so much better than Bring Me Back why didn't we read this first. Well, it's rude of me to speak that way I should know better.

In any case, who's ready to follow along as Wil falls in love with another fictional girl that ends up being the bad guy? (calling it now)
