A new era of Miami Dolphins football began on Thursday as owner Stephen Ross officially introduced new General Manager Jon-Eric Sullivan and new Head Coach Jeff Hafley.
For weary Dolphins fans, the press conference struck a positive tone, with Sullivan stressing his desire to build the team through the draft and only using free agency only for "difference makers" and even then, not until the team is in a better place from a cap perspective.
Hafley struck a similar tone, stating that his core principles are trust, belief, accountability, and toughness.
Both men stressed the need to develop strong play on both lines of scrimmage. It's not the first time that the Dolphins have held a press conference with a new head coach who has won over the fanbase with words, but it's the first time in decades that such a press conference was held two introduce to new hires from outside of the building and, if nothing else, that is a good sign in and of itself.
Aaron and Josh are back to discuss it all and give their thoughts on a brand new SAME OLD DOLPHINS SHOW at DolphinsTalk.com!
