Ruby Stapleton was a professor at Harding College in Searcy, Arkansas. On the night of October 8th, 1963, while she was washing clothes at a laundry mat, she was attacked and abducted. Eleven days later her nude, decomposed body was found by a creek bank 15 miles away. To this day, no one is sure who committed the crime.
