Dome and Bedlam Podcast

HEY! Sorry we were actually Too Drunk last episode to do the rock solid analysis you frankly deserve from our show. We capped it early for this one and sat down for a nice fireside chat about trading Omar Narvaez, the 2020 Mariners, and beyond. We hope you enjoy it, and that you have a wonderful holiday season with your loved ones!

The pod has woken up and found itself thirsty. Also we've found ourselves exhausted by the prospect of attempting to care more about another Mariners' offseason than the team itself so WE'RE TALKING FOOTBALL. David, Scott, and Nathan sit down over dinner at David's swanky new bachelor pad to talk Josh Gordon, Russell Wilson, and how you all don't appreciate a good thing when you have you incredibly spoiled babies.

Part 2 of the live show is here!

First segment features Maura Dooley and Stacy Rost of 710 ESPN Seattle, for a wide ranging discussion on sports media, rooting for actual good sports teams, and Jake Heaps slander.

Our second and closing segment stars the Queen herself, Shannon Drayer. Shannon talks the first half, the upcoming second half, lets us chug beers midway through the talk, and then speaks to the challenges of covering and promoting baseball personalities in the analytical age.

Again a huge thank you to all our guests, Josh our producer, Matt and the Masonry and mostly YOU for helping us raise FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS for Seattle Children’s Hospital. We are so grateful for you, you incredible idiots.

Hello, and welcome to a very special episode of Dome and Bedlam.

When D&B got started we had a half-joking dream of someday using the platform as a mechanism for doing some kind, any kind of good. After three years, many long breaks, lots and LOTS of bad jokes and good beer that dream became a reality. David, Scott, and Nathan spent two hours in the Masonry Fremont, participating in the Major League All-Stouts fundraiser in front of a crowd braving awkward site angles and a hot summer rainstorm. All for three dummies with a podcast, and the very worthy cause of raising money for Seattle Children’s Hospital.

This track is the first half of our show, with the introductory segment, and Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times joining us to talk Mariners, and threaten us with physical violence. It was a lot of fun.

IF YOU WOULD STILL LIKE TO DONATE YOU CAN

Thank you. Thank you for giving, thank you for coming, thank you for supporting three idiots with a dream. We love you all. Part 2 will come out next week.

Live Show First:

Tuesday, 7/9

Show starts at 5 PM

The rest of this show we talked about the Mariners and how it’s fun that they have some positive player development but, at present, the idea of a true competitor is still hard to get excited about beyond a dream. Sorry!
