Domestic Disputes

It's the last episode of Season 1 and Russell is ANGRY after being attacked in the street by a hippy libertarian mother. After he vents about that the couple discuss kids called Alexa, people who say they have read a book in a day and passengers on buses who don't want you to sit next to them. THEY ARE ON A BREAK for the next six weeks or so (the podcast not their relationship) while Russell goes and does something top secret and leaves Zahra alone in their flat to watch the entire boxset of Girls whilst listening to every podcast with Lena Dunham on until Russell returns on the 17th August and Zahra can jump on his head like he is Adam Driver. The couple are back from their holiday with Zahra's family and discuss family planning, grandparents, having kids and their day out at Puxton Park! They also discuss talking about your sexual past with a partner - how much info is too much? Plus Russell invents an exciting new app to use on drunken nights out!

The couple discuss the cultural significance of the last episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians airing and dispute whether we should feel sorry for Kim failing her law exam twice or not. They also ponder over COVID wedding restrictions and topless white men who refuse to wear sunscreen.

Today is a very special episode because it features none other than special guest Teresa Barri aka Zahra's mum! Together they discuss success disparity in couples, first dates on Zoom, anxiety over travel plans and why people break up over Lockdown. Also Russell compares his girlfriend to her mother and ascertains that Teresa is like Zahra, but more 'delicate'. 'Zahra Lite' if you will. Plus Teresa reveals her saucy penchant for Michael Palin. 

Zahra and Russell have so much to say about THAT FRIEND's REUNION it takes up almost the entire episode. Plus Zahra reveals a revolutionary domestic life hack regarding the hanging up of laundry and Russell talks Poo etiquette within the couple's dynamic. 

Zahra gets angry about the release of the Sunday Times Rich List and Russell gets his head round the concept of couples booking 'baby making holidays'. They also discuss how much they know about their individual friends before waxing lyrical about annoying avocados that never ripen. 

In this episode of Domestic Disputes the couple chat Bennifer: 2.0 and whether getting back with the ex is ever a good idea? They also discuss Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's decision to only have two kids for the environment and question whether climate change really factors into the decision to have kids or not. Plus Russell worries that Prince William listens to the podcast.

On this episode of Domestic Disputes: in light of the devastating, recent news of Bill and Miranda Gates' separation after 27 years, Russell and Zahra discuss the growing phenomena of 'Divorce Parties'. They also contemplate how much is the right amount of small talk to have with your cleaner, hairdresser and/or bikini waxer and finally agree that hugging is just not for them.
