She took her circumstances and earned a couple of Master's degrees in social work and criminal justice. She has a non-profit called Cheryl's Voice. We hear her story and she discusses how she is bridging the gap between law enforcement handling of DV cases and rehabilitation of offenders/victims.  Great conversation!
