I was joined for an emergency stream by Sam Sheehan (@NBABabySecret) and Nihilist Bucks to discuss the Cleveland Cavaliers stealing Donovan Mitchell from the New York Knicks in a shocker slop drop. The Jazz traded the 26 year old all star for a load of picks and swaps plus Lauri Markkanen, Ochai Agbaji and a sign and trade for Collin Sexton. We discussed where this puts the Cavs in the hierarchy of the loaded Eastern Conference, where the Knicks go from here and what the Jazz will do with Bojan Bogdanovic, Jordan Clarkson and Mike Conley now that they have fully committed to their rebuild. Also could the Lakers get those players after acquiring Patrick Beverly from the Jazz last week? Should the Sixers have any interest in Clarkson or Bojan? And is it possible for them to get them? Also we riffed on the possibility of an NBA expansion draft with two teams now that the league is so loaded. We picked which players we would protect from the Celtics, Bucks and Sixers. Enjoy!
