Jeremy is pretty angry with Huw and Liv this week for leaving him out of a once-in-a-lifetime experience. They’ll stoke Jeremy’s jealousy by explaining gladiator battles in the Custard-y Room, nutting during Butterscotch Dreams and eating the little guys.

The episode begins with Liv’s strange experiences at the University of Hair, which may or may not actually exist. In order to pass the time during lockdown, Josh reveals that he’s been digging holes and exploring the walls of his apartment complex. For the sake of consistency, Huw and Jeremy also reveal their areas of exploration and expertise, both relating to the letter ‘H’ of course. Josh gives us a Dalai Lama update before Jeremy is roasted for a slight voice crack. Then we roll into some dream butler creation, of course! After delivering hors d’oeuvres via surfboard, encouraging Adam Sandler, and morphing into assorted animals, the creative brainstorming arrives at a heart-warming conclusion. Or a sad one. Who knows!

The mercury is way, way down this week which makes for a frosty recording session. Huddled around the warmth of the microphone, the gang discuss buttons versus zippers, contracts, and that one friend who is always getting naked. Dreams and nightmares come up once again and this time it’s all about spiders on the face, getting stabbed, and cherry tomatoes. After the weirdest ad read in DEA history, there’s a lot of scheming and pitching as everybody stocks the shelves of an imaginary variety store. Jeremy is selling Gollum-style Wood Chips and Exactly Rice™. Liv pitches Binks deodorant – yes, that Binks. Huw comes up with a strange all-you-can-carry store which also has weird rules and an odd method for stocking the shelves. Huw and Jeremy briefly pitch a virtual fish tank idea. Then we touch base with John Lemon about his past and his extended family, wherein we discover that some of our early assumptions about his life were unfounded. Huw makes a good joke for once. This one is packed full!

Well I’m sorry to have to do this to you, but it happened again. There we were, enjoying a perfectly fine episode with special guest Keegan Mew, when a certain someone decides to interrupt for the third time. Unfortunately, it’s not the charm. In fact it’s quite the opposite, as Wilson Teet takes over the podcast with stories of his ‘childhood,’ a typically contrarian attitude, and yet another wife. He also hijacks the ad read to once again promote ‘Double Raisin Bran,’ a product he promotes zealously but receives no compensation for promoting? It’s not really clear, as Wilson Teet is notoriously hard to pin down. Did he get a blowjob in a helicopter? Does he really have trillions of dollars in an offshore account in the Cayman Islands? Is he the King of Atlantis? Nobody really knows! Prepare to get steamed as he zig-zags his way around questions, steals business ideas and explains monogamy.

DEA Nights returns with Jeremy and Huw for a fun chat between bros who like to… Oh god I can’t write this description any more without hiding the dark, macabre fact the Huw does perish in this episode and Jeremy is taken as a hostage at gunpoint. Luckily, Deputy Police Chief Haywiggle is contacted to handle the situation with a level head and a steely determination. (I shouldn’t try to do sarcasm in these descriptions, the tone just doesn’t come across)

We kick things off with a brief conversation about Mike Tyson punching orphans, wherein there’s a very poor attempt at an impression. A topic is pulled though, and it concerns the greatest fantasy story of all time; The Lord of the Rings. The Fellowship of the Ring is finally brought to its full strength as the gang joins up. Huw is bursting out of a cage and running around! Liv starts out with a ‘cool trick’ in mind but pivots to more of a public relations role. Meanwhile Jeremy is giving neck massages. He also seems to express a good deal of empathy with the plight of the villain. Along the way Huw - finally - teaches his co-hosts about chess hustling, before Jeremy’s weird stripper creation brings the episode to an end. Slime, grime, crime, and a hell of a good time!

The ‘afternoon sleepies’ have come over the podcast, or at least two out of three members, so it’s a rather quiet and relaxed affair this week.
