This week, Mike introduces Erica to an action classic with Die Hard. Erica can finally weigh in on whether or not it’s a Christmas movie and Mike desperately tries to help her figure out which quotes from this movie are actually famous. Erica will die… hard… on the wrong hill.

Listen as Thelma & Louise sends Erica into a rolling weep. Mike and Erica compare themselves to the infamous duo. I think we know who is who. They dabble in sound effects, and once again, Mike fights off his cigarette cravings.

Erica and Mike talk about their VERY different high school experiences. Denim dresses, high school track hang outs, and forties of Old English Malt liquor are discussed. Also, Erica learns that McLovin isn’t a verb!

Erica takes a deep dive into this 90’s noir classic. She witnesses a Rite Aid crime of her own as she tries to buy Rogaine (it’s not what you think). It all sends her into therapy. Mike deals with things as usual.

This week, it’s Mike’s turn. Erica introduces him to reggaeton with Colombian artist Karol G’s album: Mañana Será Bonito. Mike gets wrapped up in the semantics of butt talk, and how many times he can tolerate hearing a dem bow beat. Erica’s hear for the “perreo,” even if she’s bad at twerking.

Mike shows Erica the 80’s comedy classic Airplane! Erica has never even heard of this movie, much less any of the famous quotes. She does her best to remember them, on a day when her memory of how the English language works is questionable.
Meanwhile, Mike picked a horrible day to quit smoking.

Mike introduces Erica to Quentin Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs. Innocence will be lost, and so will Mike’s tooth. Join for squirmy thoughts about blood… and tipping.
