It was nice to have Paul on and understand the inner workings of such an important part of the touring industry. Tours simply wouldn’t function today without the help of Master Tour. Nick Martin is the guitarist and backup vocalist/screamer for the band Sleeping With Sirens. In today’s episode we dive into how Austin began his career in music from shooting DIY house shows to leveling up to international arena tours. Kim is a program director at Calling All Crows. They work with venues, festivals, and touring crews to help end sexual violence in the music industry. In today’s episode, we explore what sexual violence looks like in a concert setting. We cover on a very basic level - how to handle these situations when they arise - from both the crew and attendee perspectives. However, I would heavily recommend taking their online course as it goes much deeper than we do.  

Matt is a VIP coordinator who is currently working at 237 Global Inc.. They help create VIP experiences for artists such as Shawn Mendes, Hella Mega Tour, and Wiz Khalifa to name a few. In today’s episode explore how artists have created bigger and better experiences for their fans and how you can work in VIP.

Justin is currently drum teching for Slipknot and was kind of enough to jump on call with us mid tour, all the way from Slovakia. Had a solid time catching up with him and hearing it’s like touring with one of the largest metal bands in the world.

Sam is the lead vocalist of X Ambassadors and Gabe is their long-time tour manager of 10+ years. Sam talks with us about how X Ambassadors is constantly striving to fine-tune their shows while Gabe simultaneously progresses his Tour Managing skills to match the band's growth. Any touring team that can stay together for 10+ years is doing it the right way, thanks for sharing your stories and advice this week - looking forward to meeting you both in real life one day.
